What? Like the fact that it wouldn't be legal to tow something as heavy as a car on a car trailer behind a vehicle as small as the Outback?

To that end, the Stagea would hardly be likely to have a high enough towing limit either.

You do realise that you if you have an accident while doing these things you are f**ked f**ked f**ked, right?

Some outback’s are rated to 2400kg. Crazy I know but rated to that

I have problems with the igniton timing and have had that for about 1-2 years, tryed to adjust multiple times, it showes as "corekt" and then it isent, car is slugish, slow, backfires, cherry red turbo after 10min drive.
Changed plugs, coils, maf, fule pump, fule filter, have alsow tried a different Oem ecu with no luck, had a sugestion to try a manual ecu and shift it myself to se if that would solve the problem.
Would go for a aftermarket ecu but nothing suports s2 auto

    Is it a series 2 rb25 or a series 2 Stagea?

  3. A manual Stagea won’t work properly as it will need to be from a NEO or an RB26. You could possibly use an R33 gtst ecu auto or manual. Either way AWD won’t work. But the auto one might work the gearbox. What issues are you trying to fix?

  4. I’ve never done a Stagea before but some cars you can just put a small cut in the carpet behind the dash so it can be removed and then put a Velcro strap in to hold it together when reinstalling. I need to do mine at some stage as well does anyone know of any people doing aftermarket carpet for them yet. Or if R33 GTR fits the front half?

I didn’t carry out the work, one of the performance shops here in NZ did. But the Car idles fine if that helps..

So long as it’s connected to boosted air not just open as that will cause it to run a bit funny as well idle will still be good. How big is the throttle body? 66mm

Very hungover today but determined to crack on when I'd much prefer to suffer in my jocks on the couch and watch YouTube videos of other people moving forwards on their builds but this the new me!  For now....  I'm tipping I'll be back there in a few hours.

Got shipping notification that the new panel has been shipped from the Nissan dealer in the States so removed the old tow point (jacking point......  😏) panel. Came off pretty easily to be honest. I've had a bit of experience drilling out spot welds on my first Datto Ute so remembered some of what I learnt back then (10-12 years ago..).

Bit of cleaning up the remnants of the spot weld and she'll be ready to weld the new panel on once it arrives.

Looks good. I noticed the slight rust in the joins are you using any sort of dust treatment before you lock it all in with paint?

2 Step Comp dis dat... funny it's not even "2-step", it's actually anti-lag with a secondary RPM limiter but hey it's cooler to just say "2-step".

    Muricaaaaaaaaaaaaa fk yeah.

Same same. Mine is the rolling antilag as well. But I was just sitting still for filming purposes. What I like best is mine is activated with the snow button but makes 🔥 the opposite

  8. I’ve seen some put into the small pocket on the NS 1/4 panel but there’s no reason to relocate it. I have a FFP and front mount and still have a battery in the stock location. Less voltage drop and easy to access when I leave the map lights on
