  1. Afraid we are all saying pretty much the same thing The one delta we don't know is because DaBoss hasn't mentioned how far he'll go with mods. A pressure bump and piggy back tune's clearly going to be cheapest. Tuners recommend a FPR when using a bender cus its the cheapest band aid solution to get good results.
  2. I was of the opinion #53 comes from the hall effect sensors on the wheels (feeds ABS, HICAS and ATTESSA) The clusters signal comes from the gearbox... could be wrong though
  3. Dear son of rajab, iv never seen this site before.
  4. ^^ yah, she wouldnt have seen you. Mates and I have noticed underCovers often sit in your blind spot on purpose. They line up your C pillar with your rearview. While im here, UnderCovers that drive NON Falcon / Commo's... dammit, cant they just stick to a small subset of cars? Not Explorer's, Magna's Camry's and what have you
  5. "Stalk Puller" Rofl If im free that day (will know closer to date) ill chock... what ever the f_ck that is
  6. Good Q: Iv seen many BA's on the dyno though... Try the BA forums man
  7. I marshalled at Tex, and it was shite boring sooo Would put my hand up for the MIC, but have touretts!!
  8. Drama Drama Drama
  9. More Info Is it consistent with revs, louder at lower / higher revs? Use a screw driver to the ear, (or some amp cans from a shop) and try and locate noise
  10. Define "a little more" .... you mean “a little less” yah? Technically if you leaned the motor out, yes it could make more power, but this is going to effect the whole rev range, so idle, cruise, WOT, and is highly un-recommended I suggest, if your not doing many mods, you ditch the FPR (or if your hell bent, keep and set to close to stock base) and use your SAF to tweak the fuel accurately in the cells you want, that’s what a ECU / Piggy back is for. As others have mentioned, if plan to make some real power, then ditch the bender, grab a PFC for $900 and use proper injector modulation to control the sized squirters of your choice.
  11. Sounds completely dodge to me. If part of the turbo was in the cat, would the car still accelerate "heavily" ? Take it somewhere else for another opinion
  12. This effect on older, low resolution ECU's was due to bad Cell <> Cell interpolation. I would think (guess) in this case, its an effect of the retarder unit on the dyno.
  13. Haha, same as an injector, use a fine metal pick, and try and make sure it doesn't *twang* off into existance
  14. Clearly, if you'd managed to set it back to the exact same base pressure your OK. I'm not sure exact base on a R33 RB25, somewhere between 43 - 45 i believe. Like you suggest, if you don't want to find a wide band to stick up its bum, just leave the pressure a little high to be safe. EDIT: Mafia suggested it, because if your asking the Q: then theres a chance your not aware how changing the base pressure behind an injector will effect AF ratio's through the WHOLE rev range, amongst other fundamentals. The ECU has no idea about fuel pressure so setting the pressure too low and giving your car a hit could kill it promptly... hence why you need to set it back to the orig, or a little higher to be safe. 2nd EDIT: Corrected spelling, how anyone can understand my babbling errors, ill never know
  15. Ahh that was you, niiice. Have you got a mech LSD in the back of that?
  16. I noticed that too
  17. Can you get a infringement notice for noise? i thought they would just yellow card you on the spot, the buggers
  18. I get the Leb, subwoofer, chrome wheels, on bump stops thing almost every week hahah. They might get a “soccer mom Tarago” “Safe cardigan wearing Camry” or “San Fran Fudge Fun Jeep Wrangler” from me. Its all tongue in cheek fun
  19. Nice work man
  20. LoL, Mr 4 Post wonder is a little bitey outa the gate isn't he?
  21. Hey Anthony, mines fairly stock looking, and I never got pulled over (minus the 4 under covers driving through King Cross on a Friday night with no plates. Was coming down from QLD) Does yours look all kitted out?
  22. This one's up on stands, with its pants down getting some new lungs. As per Steve's white BNR32 thread, i cant wait to thrash it on a dyno. A mate with a 250+ kw S14 has roasted its clutch too so no good their either Ill rock up for a squiz though
  23. ^^ X3 Is the driver of the white R31 on here? I witnessed some insane corner entry's on the back track. He came up over the jump, sideways before the apex, and then linked the left hand sweeper. Mighty impressive
  24. Id be feeling mighty stabby at that point. Makes ya wanna be a no clearance bogan with a long list of priors, just enough time to "shnnaap em"
