  1. I belive some people do sometimes take the reference from the I.manifold so as not to be effected by the pressure loss across the I.cooler and pipework
  2. Solenoid "Duty" is the pulse rate to the solenoid (which dictates boost level) "Gain control" is better described as the speed in which the EBC moves between the duty needed to hold the gate shut (so off boost) and the duty needed to maintain the set boost. Gain controls the rate, or intensity in which boost builds to the set user set limit. This is my understanding, until i learn otherwise M
  3. As mentioned today in another EBC thread, you should be able to use a manual bleed setup to make your low boost setting and then turn the unit on, for the higher boost setting ( being already previously set)... i would think ha
  4. Would guess that, its the spec of the rod bolts, that you are looking for soz, not much help i know
  5. GTS - Hahah, nice try, though no Sequential setups work because the turbos themselves are of different size / AR etc. An single EBC that allows you to control the solenoid through out the RPM range, and with proper gain control should grant you your wishes, and control the twins.
  6. Import with a cannon and drainpipe tip looks the goods wobbling around, smacking the under body i think
  7. Well, you are messing with one of the major inputs that the ECU uses for fuel delivery calcs. Fore mentioned turbo oil leak could wreck havoc with the hotwire. Dont want to put you off, just need to make sure you pay attention and realize its a serious change A wide band up its bum would alleviate some of the stress for sure.
  8. ^^^ Yah it will, as the AFM isnt seeing movement due to BOV when you back off. Also should stop the "pulsing" some get when their AFM(s) are to close to the turbo compressor. Apart from wanting to do it, because you can make some $$ i reckon go for it, document your success / failure, and hopefully u don't blow a motor lol Theres many thread on this, mostly speculation and ppl who have "mates" who have set it up. Theres quiet a comprehensive thread on oil / air separators How... PCV Another Another Another Another Another M
  9. Removal and install is too easy. Common practice is to get them flowed, then place the highest flowing ones in at the rear to combat the unequal plenum flow. Agree with ^^ above, OEM rings and insulators as AM ones have leaked on me before. Little pit of petroleum based lube on install to keep them supple. Cheapest inst always best. I have heard / seen some dodgey operations, with home made inj pulsing units and apprentice mishandling. Also please keep in mind they 18yrs old and new direct fitments SARDs are like $110 each Ta
  10. ohhh right I was hoping for some 1/2 megawatt skylines, oh well Thanks man

  21. ^^^ agreed Or fit a cat that works, and tune it
  22. But can it retard ignition and add fuel as engine load increases due to wind load, through a ABS wheel speed sensor? jk sorry
