  1. that sounds pretty straight forward. i'd follow these step when changing the g/b fluid. But what i need help with though is removing the oil filter. When i last changed it, i think i placed one which does not allow me to have enough leverage to twist the filter off and ive tried all tyres of oil filter wrenches with no success. Ive seen another type, non clamping and twisitng anti-closewise model, where you just place it over the filter and tighten a screw then twist. The only one with this is that the handle you use to twist seems to be too long to have enough clearance to undo the filter. any suggestions.
  2. do you think that you can give me a hand with removing an oil filter from a sr20. Ive tried many wrenches with no luck, the dam oil filter itself is too small and confined. But i did replace it once before just cant now for some reason.
  3. is that the tyre place located on a corner near a plastic recycling tip and opposite a petrol stations? if thats the case, they dont sell used 18" - ive been there.
  4. what was the asking price if you dont mind sharing.
  5. i dont think that they are that generic here in australia hence why i ask if anyone has one. but would be great if i was wrong.
  6. sil80 aint that fast anymore. the white r33 you saw when you were here blows its doors off now. hope you enjoy your line and active in these forums particulary the sa section.
  7. i obtains some manuals for various nissans and was looking through them when i noticed they use a "consult" quite frequently - im assuming its a nissan product. For those who dont know, is a hand held controller that is plugged into the ecu (i think) to diagnosis problems with the car. Im just curious if anyone has one of these consults for private use as it seems to be quite handy going by what they use it for in the service manuals. Or does only a nissan dealer have them if that.
  8. i think its dodgy simply because only 1 photo is supplied. but if it aint a gtr why the flared rear guards - welded on?
  9. does the front fenders by any chance fit a gtst.
  10. What location is this mate. I wouldnt mind some round-a-round tyres. As usual, i can always count on andrew of pics from the highlights of the clipsal. btw, the kit suits your car. fawless paint matching of kit to body work as well.
  11. i hope so too mate. Its just these minor problems that keep creeping up now and then that is annoying. oh btw, ive heard that you are the new owner of a nice imported 4 dr line - congrats mate.
  12. im curious as to what the trust bar looks like that makes it more appealling - too some poeope, over a 400r bar. trust bar pics?
  13. count my brothers and i in.
  14. my gf would like to come to, is that ok with you andrew. she likes lost.
  15. problem fixed. Thanks for all your input. turned out to be ignition starter.
  16. i still havent been able to get all cylinders firing but thanks for your matt especially in the condition and time that it was looked at. Although i was recommended to check the ignition starter (igniters) since these tend to fail and cause the coils not to spark. Hope this fixes it.
  17. what are you after mate. I have the workshop + service manual for r33.
  18. ive got wc3 on my notebook, so can play that too.
  19. ive going for gloss black. Ive used these gloss matt black paint from vht i think it is on my intercooler piping and it was very nice.
  20. thanks mate. I was intending to get them powerd coated but think this is much cost effective way with the same outcome. Does the paint give the rims a very nice gloss coat or does it look dull as i cant really tell from the pics.
  21. cs 1.6 please. i personally havent played cs:s before but would image the graphics to be smick.
  22. i like the shutter speed of the 1/600 makes the car focused and really fast due to the blurred background.
  23. ive also contemplating getting the spokes on my rims black. At first i was thinking of taking it to get powerder coated, but this seems cheaper and more satisfying. Atm they are shadown chrome with a bit of dish, so black spokes against chrome dish would look smick. Car is also white too. The only thing holding me back is if i start sanding them then there is no turning back. Any necessary tip that i would need in order not to ruin it.
  24. cs lan. im definately in. now i need an excuse.
