  1. does mark still have his drag r33. black gtst with gtr rear guards?
  2. driftr33, reading bwilkenson's posts i'd say probabrly best to do with GWW as he has taken his stagea there and im sure if he's happy with the service they did on his car, im sure you would be too with yours.
  3. top stuff greg, as usual. im definately going to order myself a set or two.
  4. people doing runners at the petrol station doesnt help either. thats how bad and desperate the situation is. it just gets worse and worse, missisipi is flooded, new orleans isnt any better, oil is increasing in price due to shortages. Guys, the world is going to end soon!!!!!
  5. i wonder if the fuel at the servo (cant remember the name)on og road would be better priced then bp ultimate atm. abit more ron for the same price as 98.
  6. driftr33, save your money for a pfc. it would be a worthwhile investment in the long run. as safc is just a piggy back that basically adjust your fuel/air and nothing else while the pfc is a whole unit replacement. talking about pfc, im sure there arent any designed for auto's.
  7. not a problem about the service mate. i though the hybrid boost controller was an electric unit.
  8. Andrew, have you been drinking when you typed this. wdf is my name doing in the same sentence as momma and sister? anyways, yesterday i was watching aca and it was talking about how petrol was expected to reach the $1.30 very soon. i was shocked to see that it was this price already today when i went to fill up - $1.41 for bp ultimate. now that is getting redicilous.
  9. i wish i could use them but its for a 180sx not the line.
  10. bwilkeson, what is the hybrid ebc like to use? as im thinking of getting one for the sil80.
  11. 33 is in the shed with some electrical issues, nothing major. 2530 on rb20 with a target of 220rwkw's? that should be achieveable given right supports im sure you know this anyway. friend has same turbo on his rb25 and it made ~260 rwkw's.
  12. nice clean ride you have there. welcome to sau-sa. from the sounds of yours mods it seems that its quite strange to be only showing 5psi (if its the stock boost guage as in factory one then dont reply on that and use an aftermarket one for more precise reading) it should be in fact showing at least 7psi given that you have a full exhaust and fmic. in regards to pure dyno runs, then blackwood dyno and tune is quite cheap (~$30 for a power run) while for dyno and tuning definately go to boostworx as it seems the service their is second to none (customer wise as well as tuning wise). enjoy your stay and hope to see you around. cheers, duc.
  13. i payed ~$40ish at the tyre place in the city across from stratfields a while back. and i think that was with sau discount too, supposively.
  14. yeah thats what i though. i might need some stock springs to see if it rectifies the problem by any chance.
  15. hey matt, how you going mate? it isnt the rears, its the fronts as they have quite a bit of negative camber on them. would you believe that it is now one colour? isnt that a surprise. btw, you should come on a skyline cruise sometime since spring is here, would be ideal weather for it.
  16. well i performed a load test on the battery today. prior to this i have let the battery to recharge overnight, thus making sure its fully charged. once i connected all the terminals up the reading from the battery was 13.5v. cranked the engine and once it started the reading from the battery was 14.5v. i also checked the alternator voltage as this stage and it was giving a reading of 14.5v as well. the voltage on the battery dropped to 13.1v after the engine was shut off. well, i decided to leave it as that for the day. since this morning when i did the test i devided to see if there was any changes in the voltages as to my surprise the battery gave a reading of 12.1v and while it was being cranked over (thanks to my bro) i noticed that there was a considerable voltage drop from 12.v down to 7.9v but picked up to ~14v after the engine was running. now im confused, battery or alternator? maybe both?
  17. thanks darren, ive got AVS's number and address here but i dont know what their prices are like (probabrly best to ring myself and ask i know). although seeing as they have market themselves as specialist in drift/street and what not indicates to me that they "may" be expensive. btw the camber on the front is very out of wack, does anyone know if they can you adjust to as close to 0 as possible without aftermarket components. as my sil80 currently has stock shocks but not stock springs and its causing my the front cambers to be rediculously out of alignment.
  18. hi guys, can anyone recommend a place that does a good job at wheel alignments and balancing at a resonable price. cheers, duc.
  19. does matte black and rain mix? i doubt it
  20. no need for that language. cough*postwhore*cough yeah its looks to be a pain to remove. dammitt!!
  21. its going to be a pain in the ass to get the alternator off. wish i didnt use my battery is jump start the 180 now.
  22. do you happen to haev the alternator?
  23. doh!!!! means i dont have a freebie alternator. having said that, anyone have an alternator laying around that i can borrow/buy for an r33? i dont think it matters which model its from does it
  24. yes weather is awful atm. sam, did you get your alternator issue fixed yet? mine hasnt been fixed yet, doh!!!! oh, if you are getting a new (second hand) alternator, mind if i try yours to see if mine is dead. its been sitting in the shed ever since.
