  2. Guys if I want to come and do some track days with the SAU crew but don't have a skyline, what's the procedure? I have a modified B13 nissan NX which is essentially the same as an N14 pulsar. Not interested in running R-compounds, car has a nistune, factory turbo and basic engine mods - but it's FWD. Acceptable at your events? I guess it is a nissan, even if it's gay.....

  10. The powerFC that ran this engine is now gone, so you can't see it running. Russman saw and heard it run when he picked the ECU so he can vouch for the fact that it didn't blow smoke or knock. Engine is coming out this weekend. Got 3 interested buyers, first person to put cash in my hand gets it

  12. Dude they just look like injectors. They are a single pintle spray pattern. I'll take a photo on the weekend if you really want.
  13. complete engine, plenum, turbo, manifold, supercharger setup can be done for 5k. PowerFC looks like it's gone. The engine setup will make bulk power with no lag - plus the sound it makes is pretty awesome:
  14. bump - engine is coming out next weekend, so if you're interested in seeing it run before then, please pm me. otherwise take my word for it that it's good. This engine made 235rwkw in my VL on 9psi, so it's pretty well set up. Quench is 35 thou. Power output only limited by the RB30 rods which are good for up to 300-320rwkw. Change the rods over to some cheap Spool rods or similar and it will be good for a LOT more power. Price drop to $2300 if you put a deposit on it next week
  15. Unsure on the brand (assume you mean the 550cc injectors?) I bought them about 3 years ago but never fitted them. I should probably get them flow tested to verify their condition, but they were bought off a very reliable member of this forum and are definately not stock items. I seem to remember them being Nismo injectors but cannot confirm. Bought them for 300 from memory, happy to sell for $200, if you want me to clean and flow test them first I can but price will be $300. Quite happy to do that if you'd prefer.   18. As title states. Q45 air flow meter which will register values up to around 400kw I believe. Full 3 inch internal diameter. Comes with a couple of clamps and some silicon connectors. Used to good effect on my RB25/30. Never had a problem with it. Comes with plug too. If you have a powerFC you can simply select this AFM from a list on the hand controller and the ECU will read the output voltage scale and modify your fuel mapping accordingly, so you can plug it in and drive it to your tuner without a problem. Offers excellent part-throttle and idle resolution as it originally came off a factory engine in an Infinity. Still a better option that most MAP sensors in my opinion for a street car. Chasing $300 posted anywhere in OZ. Guaranteed working condition. Car idled perfectly with it. Caveat: need to keep it on the car until engine is sold so I can show the buyer a running engine. May be a week or two. Same deal with the 044 pump, it has been used for about 5000km only. Very good condition. Guaranteed genuine item not a copy one. Looking for $150 posted anywhere.
  19. Now parting out - there's a lot more interest in the parts than the whole car which is understandable. Looking like engine is gone, PFC is gone, front brake setup gone so far. Parts left that may interest skyliners: JD custom plenum to suit RB25 (comes with runners as well) 550cc injectors on RB25 rail stock 380cc injectors on RB25 rail and probably more that I can't think of right now thanks for playing

I could probably find a pallet and strap it to that, but I'm unsure if I can get a courier to pick it up from my door, you'd need a forklift or something If you know a way to do it easily then I can definately freight it, but I'd much prefer pickup because it's farkin heavy
  21. As title states. JD custom plenum with provisions for the standard RB25 idle air valve on the side. Fits well into Vl engine bay. This is the revised version of his plenums which are awesome. (original design had some issues with leaning out rear cylinders at high airflows) Comes with RB25 idle air bypass valve, some vacuum fittings tapped in underneath etc. Pics in this thread: http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=79101 The plenum has provision for an XF throttle body on the front, which interfaces beautifully with the RB25 throttle position sensor. Perfect for anyone with an RB25 top end in their VL. Price is $500, pickup in inner north melbourne or can post pretty easily.   22. As title states. Engine is currently in my car and can be driven/seen running. Was rebuilt a few years ago and then mothballed, and has been started every 3 months since. The entire engine has done around 5000km, it's basically only just run in. It's a series 1 RB25DE head grafted onto a series 1 RB30 block which has had the oil feed and returns tapped in to the block (so it is now identical to a series 2 block). The head was fully reconditioned, with new valve seats, springs etc etc etc, basically a full job. The bottom end was built with Clevite 77 rod bearings and genuine Nissan main bearings. The pistons are ACL cast pistons and the rods are standard items that have been beam polished and shot peened. Essentially: Engine; RB25/30, fully rebuilt head and bottom end, everything has done about 5000km since rebuild with no issues. No blowby, no oil usage or leaks, a very tight engine. Parts list: 3ltr block ACL cast pistons, standard bore size, ACL race series rings. Rods - standard. Crack tested, cryo treated, beam polished then shot peened. Bearings: Nissan mains, clevite 77 rods. R32 GTR oil pump. R33 RB25DE head fully rebuilt, new valve guides, reseated valves etc stock cams RB25DET 380cc injectors This setup made 235rwkw on my twincharged setup, so it's quite well set up. The timing belt setup uses two tensioners on the high edge of the block so it's easier to adjust the tension on the slack and tight sides independently. The head was welded and faced to delete the VCT function, and a grub screw setup was put in the front intake cam bearing to supply oil to the front cam journal. The VCT is therefore disabled. For extra cost I can supply my twincharge hotside and a JD custom plenum setup for the intake, but most likely I will sell that stuff separately. Price: $2500 For that you get the block + head assembled, the oil pump and cam drive setup, rocker covers, spark plugs, cams etc all ready to go. Location: inner north melbourne. Pickup only. Happy to start car and allow buyer to listen to engine and inspect for leaks, smoke etc - there is none, this engine is mint. I will take half deposit, then remove engine for the buyer within 2 weeks.
