  1. The roof skin is joined/welded under the roof rails, that is why they are there You will have to remove the front winscreen as well to fit/replace the skin. Approx 6-8 hours to go replace skin and remove the new skin from roof cut I would really find a better panel shop to fix your existing roof I helped do my 2004 lancer roof recently. Done in approx 4-5 hours Do the quotes to repaint the car include removing and re fitting the side rear quater glass and tail gate glass? It cost me approx $500 to get someone to cut out side glass and tail gate glass and then come back to refit after painting. I left the front windscreen in. You will most likly need to replace the front screen moulding and the hatch screen moulding plus they ahve a hidden retainer as well. Allow another $400-500 for these Make sure if the side rear quater galss comes out they do not cut the rubber as it bonded to the glass. It can not be replaced and is very easy to damage. other wither new quater glass is $850 a side As to respray costs...find out what brand of paint as good stuff costs alot more You can spend $150 on 4L of clear or like me I spent over $500 on clear My total paint materail cost was over $2500 alone, but that was inside and out and full kit and engine bay. Colour was $170L....I used 8L. Is the body kit a copy or genuine? How good is the fitmen going to be. Have the panel shops seen the quailty I bought a doggy copy rear bar and side skirts and spent 50-60 hours to get them to fit Just make sure you know all your cost up front before you start the job....other wise you might be up for a few extar grand. Hope that helps

  5. I have a new bussiness growing fast which will require me to get really big shed/warehouse. My company will need a "ute" and I have this little plan to maybe build one and I can "get" away with doing it not at home (wife ) It would be good to have the wagon and a replica ute in same style and colour for advertiseing etc. This is the long term plan. Good to have a dream. My brother in law (panel beater) owes me 8 weekends work I just put in helping him repair and I painted an EH wagon for thier wedding.
  6. That's a hard one I think it would be worth the same or more than 260RS. $20-25K?? Has probably has $35-40K in mods alone.
  7. Seroiusly think about selling it now.....otherwise it may become a ute....seriously.
  8. Just buy mine and save the effort and cost It has a few good mods
  9. E-clip Check out my build thread for pic's 40 hrs alone of mods to get rear bar to fit Cut into 3 pieces and extended both sides by 20-25mm to reach wheel arches. heaps of filler needed Both side skirts were 7-10mm too short, cut and extended as well.
  10. You can use these with the sliders provided with the seats http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130277287431?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I have 26 pairs of spare seats if anyone interested So if you missed out PM me with your request to get listed prices in GB, otherwise they will be more once landed and listed OFF SAU for sale!!!!
  11. The only materail with "bride" thru it is the multi colour like the pic above I posted The Black, Red, Blue materail options are solid colours without the Bride name thru it The back can be either Black FRP Silver Glitter FRP Carbon Kevlar I hope that clears up any confussion Sorry for slow response, have been a bit busy with new business
  12. Like the pic attached? Same price as quoted on first post Or do you mean the multi colour FRP back?
  13. Thanks for the order They only do solid back fabric, not black with bride name thru it Only fabric with bride name thru it is the multi colour version
  14. They came in white gel coat, but they were so wavey, I had to bog the entire length
  15. I did have a original plan of fully covering the entire roof strip in 1 or 2 layers of fibreglass, then bog and sand and paint. The problem with the roof strips they are covered in a rubber/plastic coat over s/steel metal. Too hard to remove the coating, plus the front end is approx 4-5cm long of solid plastic, not metal. Still worth a try. Pics of the fibreglass ones we bought This was last weekend. Now both sanded and getting undercoated this weekend
  16. Actually photo's attached of black FRP back Vios III and Gias II Carbon back Kevlar back is from supplier for reference. Also suede pic I weighed the seats. The weight includes the sliders and side brackets Vios III was 9.5kg Gias II was 14.9kg
  17. Yes can get that model. They are the same price as the Gias. Will have to check to see if they come in the Gias ii recliner mech version. Pretty sure they come in suede. It maybe slighty more $ for that material from memory. I still have pair of carbons here from the last group buy that have not been picked up yet. Will take pics tomorrow.
  18. http://www.carbontecmfg.com/en/About.asp As for RRP in Australia. Conisdering they are copies there is no real RRP and no Aust distributor. All I can quote is going of ebay prices, Gias FRP sell for $900-1100 pair I have seen Gias at Autobarn, Gold Coast at $870 EACH!!!!!!! so $1740 pair RRP GB price is $670 pair I know I will upset some people on this forum with pricing, but so be it. I have read the attached rules. Maybe you can keep cercern people out of the thread tring to trash it. It happened in the last group buy. Cheers Hope that satisfies any concerns.
  19. Carbon and Kevlar backs are the same prices and available I will check on red stiching options I have tried to keep the options a little less this time, as it is hard work dealing with the seller in China and getting them to understand what you want. I need to keep the cut off date to 3 weeks to allow enough time for manufacture and shipping and "delays", so that they arrive before xmas. I am away after xmas for a few weeks as well. I will organise shipping form my end No tail lift needed. Ignore that option

All seats have the option of colour being logo graduation, black, red All seats have shell option of black FRP, Carbon All seats come with basic rails. as pictured Gias Low Max Recliners (The most common ones for sale elsewhere) FRP $670pr Glitter $690pr Carbon $850pr Gias 2 Low Max Recliners (Upgraded quick release adjustor and flip forward) Same as per sample pic with "star" shaped adjuster. Much better option for only $20 more over the Gias. FRP $690pr Glitter $710pr Carbon $900pr CUGA Recliners FRP $690pr Carbon $900pr Vios III Fixed back FRP $525pr Glitter $580pr Carbon $770pr To order please reply with the following filled in 1. Style 2. Back materail, ie F/G or Carbon, Glitter F/G 3. Materail Colour 4. Pick up Brisbane or Post (Use transdirect for OZ wide delivery quote) I may have an option of purchasing additional rail mounts the sliders that come with the seats can bolt to. Approx $210-230 pair. So they will be similar to the Bride seat mounts. Some question and answers from first thread and fine print. PLEASE READ 1. You will need either make up brackets to use the rails supplied or buy Bride specific rails to suit the model seat you have purchased. The mounting bolt centers differ between different model seats 2. The fibreglass, carbon seats will be all approx the same weight, as the carbon options are just for show 3. Seats weights are approx 14-16kgs for recliners. fixed approx 12-14kg 4. Gias and Gais 2 are the same seat, but the Gias 2 has a revised updated adjusting knob (star opposed to triangle) which is a quick release to either adjust back or quick flip forward. The older Gias with triangle knob needs to be wound to adjust and there is a seperate bar at rear of seat to flip forward 5. Seat belt buckle fixes to the bride seat rails not the seats. Keep this in mind if you select fixed back bucket seats, as it hard to reach to fix seat belt plus the seat belt does not hold you in correctly. Fixed back seats are best used with harnesses and are not suitable (legal) in car the 2 doors and back seat fitted 6. Bare in mind the seats are copies and very close cosmetically to the orginals. All seats are not ADR approved and to be used at your own risk etc etc. 7. There is no warranty provided and quality and finish may differ to what you expect. I haVe received sample seats as per pic's provided, so make you own judgment. The quality was better than exspected. 8. Refer to the Bride site for mounting bolt centre and rail model selection. 9. Seats are moulded from originals, so shape and seating height will be same as originals
  21. 1600 or 1800kg doesn't really matter. The extra 200-300kg and AWD is the killer over a lighter RWD is the problem I have had to change my clutch twice. First one was 3200lb and died after one trip to the drags. I now run 4200lb clamp pressure and carbontec plate, 50% more then a stock GTR (approx 2800lb?) clutch. No slip now R34 GTR clutch is not exactly the same.
  22. It will fit I personally would at least go a R33 GTR as it has a higher clamp pressure Esp because of the 1800kg stagea.
  23. No stress mate, we are always too busy Sorry to kill your possible sale After waiting 13 months to get these made, the quality was shit. They were suppose to take 6-8 weeks to get made! Have a look when this thread originally started!!! The guy was well capiable, recently making all the carbon work for Handbrake's mega R35 GTR build, but managed to totally give us a crap job and charge us for poor service. I have had to fully bog the entire length to get them flat Will be in primer either this weekend or next They are not good enough to just paint and fit.
