That will work if the car has enough power the break it free. try second/third full power clutch in. Try not to bash limiter too hard when it breaks free though.
Pin 43 tells the stock ECU the car is trying to start and adjusts bits and pieces accordingly to help the process.
Blue wire with white trace doesnt go to the ecu. Its in the white/black connector 30cm away from the ECU.
From my past experiences it sounds like there is 2 wiring issues.
First one would be lack of power supply to a common power wire(IAC VCT O2). Blue wire/ white trace. Meant to be connected to a purple wire? under dash of vl that powers up at same time as FPump.
Second would be no start signal going into pin 43 of the ECU. Grey wire/ red trace maybe. + trigger on crank.
Only thing I can fault on my VQ is the open deck block design. Can't keep head gaskets in 1 piece. Apart from that, they are an awesome motor.
Gonna give mine one last squeeze before I sell the car, hoping for 600ish HP.
Is the HR closed deck???
The inlet gear on RB25DET's is slotted and therefor adjustable. Can dial in both cam's correctly with an adjustable exhaust cam gear and degree wheel, dial guage etc.
20 Degrees sounds right VCT on/off.
Cant remember prices. All the cars havn't had A/C so mounting is off the A/C holes in the block. Then a trigger disc onto the harmonic balancer and a GT101 sensor. In the logging when the issue occurred there was a 550rpm fluctuation.. Afterwards about a 20rpm fluctuation and all the issues where gone.
Iv'e only ever come across this issue with motec. Due to the processors in the ecu being so fast they pick up any deflection in the timing belt (usually on a hard ramp and at around 8500rpm). Fixed it by running a crank mount pick up and using the cas for sync purposes only. PFC never have this issue due to slower processing.
