  1. HI guys...a little update. I came to this exhaust https://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/products/detail_product.cgi?rid=191 Problem is that it is for RB25DE NEO(i have RB20DE NEO). I tried to ask like 3 shops...but they just...yeah man it is for RB25 we dont know if... But is the exhaust on RB25 really that different? I try to find any information but no info about stock exhausts on these engines. Other thing is sound/drone. I know that these N/A RB can drone if you put large exhaust and cannon ball rear muffler. This exhaust has cannon bal but it has oval resonator too. I manage to find one video. He says that cat is broken so a little rasp can be heard. I know it is video/quality etc but imho it sound way better than those 3 inch sreamers. So does anyone know if i can fit this exhaust on RB20DE NEO...imo i dont know why the RB25DE NEO exhaust should be any different...but i dont really know 😄
  2. So in recap if i buy that GTS-T engine(S2) with ECU and wire harness(guy says it is complete engine) Intercooler too. I can swap that with "no" problems? I know...new clutch and pump. Sry i know i maybe asking like a dumb person but iam trying to gather as much and clear information cuz i dont think anybody knows about this to much in here. And i dont want to end with engine swap half way...so iam trying to eliminate all the "problems" before 😞 But many thanks for all the info!
  3. Ok so that is that on the R33 engine. The guy says he has ECU and everything...it is cheaper and should be ok engine. One thing i read(i think) that clutch is different on R33? I know i will need a new one anyway. Fuel pump is ok my needs to go out anyway. Of course i would get an aftermarket ECU for tunning. And maybe the worst part...need to ask either my mechanic or someone here if he can do this and mainly do this legally. More power and anything is cool but no way iam gonna be driving without all ok on legall side. I have the RB20DE NEO...not the 25 :-) But if iam gonna swap engine anyway and if i have the money...it is kinda nonsense to buy NA to replace NA. EDIT: seems i miss the Stagea part. Yeah the other guy who is selling the RB25DET NEO is indeed selling Stagea engines.
  4. EDIT(cant edit the previous post). And something little bit different. What about RB25DE NEO(non Turbo)? In case my engine will "blow" or something happens where it will not reasonable to repair? This engine should be ok to fit? I think it has the same trans. From your information and everything a read so far about Turbo/Swap...it is/will be waste of money.
  5. So for the RB25DET from R33 i do not need Nistune the ECU but for the NEO i do? The guy who sells the NEO engine says he is doing Nistune too so it will be easier...but of course much more expensive. I just looking for options and what i can/cant do in here. So thank you for all the info 🙂
  6. Thanks for the answer. I was looking for question but found only swap to RB25DET NEO. The guy selling says it has everything. Wiring and ECU and i already have breakes from R34 GTT. Stronger clutch should be "easy" to find/buy...fuel pump too and intercooler-plumbing is already on the engine.(plumbing would be new and designed to fit) Is there anything else i would need or to look for? I presume that if i find the NEO engine things will be the same for the swap?
  7. Hi guys...quick question. Can i fit the RB25DET S2 from R33 GTS-T to my R34 GT? it is completely stock. I know trans is weak but it should at least mate or? And what about everything else? I just asking cuz someone selling their S2 engine for 4500k AUD which is great price considering it is in my country and i dont need to pay extremely high postage.
  8. I dont know that...iam not rushing just dont know if i get any response. He/his company was the first i wrote cuz i read that it is good quality product and it fits the GT/GTT bumper perfectly. And his company is after like X hours of searching only one who show up with exactly what i have searched for. It is kinda hard to find one cuz East Bear is long gone and other company(Viva or something) which has done "copies" of this lip is gone too... But thanks for the answer...i will wait and if he do not reply i will try again :-) I looked at jsai but they do only "one" lip (i can get the same here) and the "GTR" lip is only with the bumper and Z-Tune kit. I have poor RB20DE NEO so i do not want to be extremely lame with whole Z-Tune kit 😄
  9. Hi, Iam looking for this lip. As far as i know it is/was a East Bear lip for GT/GTT series 1 bumper. Iam from EU so a lot of shops from AU or anywhere near dont even show on my browser.(Iam using VPN for Yahoo auction but nothing) I find one :https://www.kmakaero.com.au/nissan-r34-skyline-east-bear-style-front-lip~1234 They doing the exactly this but from which i have read they do not communicate well (i wrote them couple of days ago and still nothing) Do you guys know any other shops/places where can i try get this?   10. Thank you for the info guys :-) @GTSBoy: Yeah i know i need something smaller and with resonater and bigger muffler. "Funny" thing is that i like the "stock" sound...when the car is on idle and i stand at the back of the car the sound is "deep" and nice but it is too quite and inside you cant hear it at all let alone when you drive. I will ask the guy at exhaust shop. He has done many exhaust but not on my car/this engine so no exp. there 😕 EDIT: I have this HKS Hi Power muffler(34002-AK007) got it as a gift(it is not on the car)...in my case that is not gonna be good yeah? @Murray_Calavera: i know but in this purpose i just like the sound "from" the video. Maybe in real life i would not like it...but in my case i like "that" sound...something deep and quiet :-) Sadly the second part is not an option in here. In my country they are very few Skyline and like 99% are GT-Ts. As far as i know iam the only one in the country who has this car with this engine(no wonder...who wants a Skyline from "2F2F" with 155Hp LOL) I know i cant get that "same" sound...just want something deeper and quiet :-) I found one video on YT with the same engine and custom exhaust and it sounded nice...but sadly the video was deleted 😞
  11. Hi, Finally i have the car running good with no problems(not counting bodywork) and i have the question about custom exhaust. I rly like this sound: I know i know it is a GT-R and i have very poor RB20DE NEO with stock exhaust. I know i cant get 100% same sound other than i buy "his" car or build the same exhaust. He has some midori/mines titanium downpipe...sard cat. and that midori hi power silent exhaust(titanium)..that is just for the info. What i "want" is the similiar deep "silent" tone. I do not want those "3 inch" screamers which i can find all on YT. So my Q. What type of custom exhaust should i go to have something similiar? Deep but nice and quiet sound? Is it even possible on N/A engine?
  12. Hi sry to bring up this ancient question. How is it then? I have R34 GT(no X or V) just regular GT with RB20DE NEO. Can i fit this brake kit from GT-T to my GT or do i need to do anything to it to fit? Thank you very much!
  13. So i ran my car today. It was around 20°C so pretty cool for car to not sound like old Patrol. Car was fine after the start and for a 5km...then it start to sound like the old 4WD again... Fan just goes with the RPM...so it is safe to assume that my clutch on the fan si broke?
  14. many thanks for the info guys. In here(CZE) it will be hard to even find replace in a different car. I could try Nissan official here but they will take too long and they will on 99% say that they cant(too much work) get it. JP Parts is my way to go. They are expensive but if they have the part i have it here in a week. Iam in a vacation rn but when i come back it should be around 23 Celsius and at night even less. So it will be fair to say that if in these temperatures fan goes "crazy" it is broken?
  15. Thanks. For now i just dont know. I know 100% that when car was broken and only 5cyl works(but it was much cooler) i heard that fan only on the start and after that...nothing. Right just a couple of minutes after the start...whenever i accelerate or even on place when i "step" on it...the fan spins with the rpms and it sounds like old Patrol or some 4WD...like every time. It happens when i go downill and downshift the fan goes with the rpm too... So maybe it is broken? Yeah i rather buy Nissan one even if it expensive 🙂
  16. So i test the clutch fan. When i first started the car i let the rpms settle down and then just unparked from my place(cold garage place) I try to rev it couple of times and fan was rather quite. Then i drive like 500m and parked. Car was already at the temp and fan start to move faster with rpm since that. But it is rather hot here(33+ Celsius) and city driving.   17. Hi...many thanks for the reply. Iam going to test the clutch fan today and see if it is really locked/bad. When i start the car the fan is quiet...but from what i read...when i step on the gas as it is cold...fan should not start to spin with RPMs just yet or? Yeah i look up the original and it costs 500USD just a part alone(no postage VAT etc...) That Dayco one is 220 USD with postage. So DK if i should spend more than double and be 100% positive that is going to work or "cheap" out and get that Dayco one.
  18. Hi, I do not want to start a new thread cuz there is already a tone of info about clutch fan so i ask here. My car(R34 with RB20DE NEO and new radiator) starts to sound like jet/taxi/old Nissan Patrol when i leaving from anywhere. Even when iam reversing the fan goes with the RPMs It is kinda hot right now(32+ Celsius) but i do not think it should do that(AC is off). I fly thru comments about that and it seems i maybe have seized clutch fan? What the clutch fan should do if it is not broken? When the car is cold after the start...should the fan goes with the RPMS or not? If i try to spin the fan with engine off(cold) should there be any resistance( guessing that if it is really seized that would be "harder" to spin?) Car is not overheating or anything like that.   19. Yeah we try that but we have another problem that we know is for 100% bad. My intake gasket at the flaps just "broke" (i do not get new one cuz gasket kit is also discontinued and kit for RB25 do not have this gasket). So i order that gasket separately and while i was at it i try to order that IACV cuz like you said it is very common to go bad to fix one 100% problem and one "maybe" problem... Bud sadly it is discontinued... So i try to find a new/used-working one to avoid being broken too...
  20. Yeah we will try that...iam not a mechanic but my IACV is kinda buzzing and not closing/opening all the way...is that right? And can you send me some siites where can i buy new/used? I maybe buy one just as spart part for the future 🙂 Many thanks
  21. Hi. Very likely my IACV is bad and i need new one. I try order this 23781-AA010 part but they said that is discontiuned...:-( Can i fit some other part like this 23781-AA100 from RB25DE or is it completely differnet and it wont fit? How can i say with 100% certainty that my IACV is bad? If it is...what are my possibilities? Thank you for the info!

  23. Sorry for later reply. Yeah i ordered many things from Japan(JP Parts) and some from Dubai and everything was ok... JP Parts are EXTREMELY quick...like 4 days from payment i got my stuff...yeah they are little bit expensive but i dont mind...iam happy that they have the parts 🙂 But yeah iam using DHL...our local post office sucks hard 😄
  24. @Hendry: i hope we can too but on RB25DE/T this part is different ...in RB20DE NEO it "splits" into two parts...on others the manifold is one part...and that "corroed" part looks different too. But i saw some pictures of it and it looks like there was some metal pipe too... This picture is from RB25DET NEO and looks little bit different but yeah...100% metal pipe...mine is/was the same it should be easy to repair 🙂 And this is part from RB20DE NEO...metal pipe too 🙂 On the other hand my mechanic discovers that on 99,9% problem is exhaust valve on cyl 5. (both of them) They leaking fluid...but the head is OK so tomorrow we send it to a machine shop to check if the valves could be machined or if we need to order some new ones. But so far it is looking "good" 🙂
