  1. Spoke to Troy through that last number. Put me onto the Rite Price mob. Had a a chat to a guy there and they can do it. Bit pricey and I would have to change my wheels (15x9.5 rears).

Thanks guys, still open to suggestions on another place that may be a bit cheaper and more lenient.

  2. 8kg is nothing for me, Streeted my Cefiro exactly as it was drifted at Tsukuba circut with 14KG & 10KG with fixed back seat. Actually wishing I went with 9 or 10kg fronts. Wondering if I should go 7kg rears to combat squat and help have fun in the rain/skidpan.

Curious to what your 'track' specs are on the purple people eater Dennis?

  3. J! Can you toss me a pic of both front & rear under guards please? Like to see how the guards & quarters have been cut away. Cheers, D

    Their still standard underneath.

I believe the correct method goes a little something like this-

First cut off lip then cut outer about 15mm higher and used wire brush attachment on drill to take back to bare metal. This is so the epoxy used later on will bond properly.

Then used vise grips, hammer and dolly to pull inner lip over outer. Hammered flat.

Used wire brush again to take down to bare metal then applied 2 part epoxy to seam.

Lastly riveted for good measure. Now all need to do is throw a bit of silicone over rivets ends in wheelwell and paint etc.

  4. Thought I would post progress to date on my coupe. Since the last update I've acquired a few parts and soon the show will be on the road.

First was a set of SSR center caps.

Then sourced a RS emblem towel to cover my shredded rear headrests.

Finally it was time to start gathering suspension components. Jenesis A8 coilovers where fabricated in custom colours with 8kg springs. Rears soon to be added with whiteline sway bars wich are sitting next to me. Custom 30mm roll center adjusters are en route from the USA.

Tyres are next on the agenda. Looking at Toyo T1-R's in 205/55 & 195/55 :)

  5. dude, sway bars WERE the best and cheapest suspension upgrade i ever did to my 30. bar getting adjustable castor.

upgrade, daily or not. its worth it.

i got both front and rear from whiteline 24mm and 22mm. came with everyting to fit and was around $300 i think. doo it.

fyi, that image looks like the rear bar i got.

Curios as to what are your full suspension specs are man? Is it setup more for drift or time attack? Rego'd?

  6. Have some C210 bumpers that will probably be up for grabs in the next couple of weeks. Rear in VGC, includes all trims but no brackets. Front has a kink in it, suit restoration. Front does not include brackets, side trims or lights. $200 for both.
