  1. Hey guys i have an rb25det in my 260z datto. Im upto the stage of working out the intake. Ive bought an r35 MAF and am going the blow through route, mounting it after the intercooler before the throttle body in 3” piping. I have 2 main questions…. 1. Do you think installing an air straightener (honeycomb) before the MAF will have a notable advantage? Anyone know of an Australian seller? Everything seems to be overseas… 2. When mounting the sensor is there any advantage of mounting it in a certain angle? For example mounting it on the opposite side of pipe after the air goes around a bend. Hopefully that makes sense? Dan
  2. As the title im after a bracket to support my audi r8 coils as they sit loose by themself. anyone have one they bought but didnt need? Thanks
  3. Yep as above! pm me if you need help diagnosing it!
  4. Nissan dash cluster are notorious for going bad. Might be worth taking into a gauge specialist for them to bench test it
  5. Hi guys my brother in law is trying to find out what is causing his problem when under boost. Ive suggested its the coilpacks but he doesnt want to bite the bullet and pay top dollar for a maybe. Im wondering if anyone has a set of coils he would be able to use for an hour or so. Located Adelaide (aberfoyle park) car is r34 with rb25
  6. Just be careful, its an auto you might not be able to release it from park if you swap the wiring
  7. Could be for Cruise control or gear shifter if auto
  8. Hey Mikel, im not really familiar with this model but does it boot up from a cd in the boot? Id be trying to un plug different connectors relting to the screen and spraying some “contact cleaner” on them then plug them in a few times. Could be simple as a bad connection. The reason i asked about a cd is that the nissan logo keeps reappearing which seems that its constantly rebooting from something. maybe this gives you something to off! Dan
  9. Ok i was meaning completely off the car and running it with just a battery to see if it operates differently. Looking at your photos it looks like everything is in good nic. Unless there is a small wire fracture perhaps inside the motor id be guessing its the switch has dirty contacts or something along that line. If you power it up direct from a battery then you can prove if its the car or motor thats causing the fault.
  10. Amayama may have a listing for the motor seperately?
  11. Thats great would love to see it in action haha surely other people in covid have done some stuff to the kids toys whilst they have been bored

  17. These adaptors / extensions allow you to move the factory oil pressure sensor to the position used in the rb20 (slightly higher and to the left) on the rb25. this is needed when deleting the oil heater/cooler/ heat exchanger thing and using the rb20 oil filter housing on the rb25 i have 4 available $15 posted around aus! will update with photos tomorrow thanks Dan

  20. Sounds like you might have a short circuit somewhere (short to power) i havent had a 34 before but some of my other cars mainly subaru had a seperate switch that activates the parkers (tails) when the car was off. edit: have you checked the foglight switch???
