  1. Hi Hattori, The G35-900 was also one of the favorites, please let me know how you get on I need to order something in the next few weeks. Also, What Manifold? Hypertune T4 or 6Boost T4 or Artec V band?
  2. Hey Guys, Anyone used the Brian Crower Stroker Kit from 2.6L to 2.9L?
  3. Hi, Forgot to mention that the car will run mostly on RON98 But will be E85 capable. I have been told either Precision 6870 A/R 1.00 with Artec 70mm Big Daddy "V" Band Manifold or Garrett G35-1050 A/R 1.05 using T4 Twin Scroll. Both of these sound great But as this will only be a street car, Which Turbo set up will give the best Response or should I stick with Twin EFR'S?
  4. Hi Guys, I am building a Nitto Stroked RB28 with all the goodies, fully Ported/Polished Head, Kelford 182-SE Cams, VR38 Coil conversion, PRP 32T Trigger kit (or similar) etc. Looking at using either the 6Boost T4 Divided Manifold or Hypertune T4 divided. Which Turbo will give me the quickest spool from around 3500rpm to 8500rpm without running out of puff? Looking for around 750 - 900hp. Thank you for your input.

    Hi Ben,

I am building an RB28 with the Nitto Stroker Kit also. I have fully ported/polished head, Kelford 274/270 cams, Ferrea Valve Train, 1mm oversize, Hypertune T4 Twin Scroll Manifold, CPC 90mm Intake, DBW, Looking for good response and approx 800hp, Street car. I'm still Not sure what Turbo to use, what would be your pick from the following: EFR8474 0.92, PT6466 1.05, BW 35-900 1.01 ?

  6. Hi,

I have an R33 GTR V-Spec and want to change the Diff setups. For the Front, I have a Quaife LSD and for the Rear I have a standard R33 Diff with Axles and a Cusco RS 1.5 way LSD. Once all this is installed, What happens to the Atessa Lines etc ? Will the car still be 4WD or do I need a Torque Split Controller ?

    Thank you for your help.

  7. Hi Tricstar,

How are you? I believe you have done this conversion, I have an R33 GTR V-Spec and want to change my Front and Rear Diffs. I have a Quaife LSD for the Front, and for the Rear I have a Standard R33 Diff with Axles and a Cusco RS 1.5 way for the Rear Diff. Once all this is installed, What happens to the Attessa lines etc and will the car still be 4WD?

Thank you for your help. :)

  8. Do you think the PT6870 would be too laggy for 98 Pump Gas ?
  9. Hi Guys, I just want to pick the knowledgeable RB guys brains as to which Turbo would be best suited for my application. I am building a Street Car (Not a Race car) and will be using mostly RON98 But will be E85 compatible. I want Response more than Top End. Still don't know which Turbo to use. The Most popular Choices are: EFR 8474, BW 35-900 or 35-1050, PT6466 or PT8470 (although I suspect this might be a bit laggy) Mods include: Haltech E2500 ECU N1 Block with Nitto 2.8L Stroker Kit Ported/Polished Cylinder Head with 1mm Oversize Valves ID 1300c Injectors R35 to RB26 Coil Conversion Kit PRP Cam/Crank Trigger Kit Kelford 182-S Cams (274/270) 90mm DBW Intake Plenum T4 Twin Scroll Hypertune Exhaust Manifold Quaife Front LSD Cusco RS 1.5 way Rear LSD OS Giken 5 Speed Gear Set Custom 4" Stainless Exhaust This car is a Toy Not a Daily Driver, Which Turbo would be best suited for this Street Car Setup giving Response before Top End ?
  10. Hi Jeff,

I am in Auckland and am in the process of Upgrading my Gearbox, Did you eventually order one of these Par-Engineering Gear Sets?

    Thanks

    Alex.

  11. Hi Paul, I am building my 1996 Series 2 R33 GTR V-Spec and will be using an New N1 Block with a Nitto 2.8L Stroker Kit, Haltech E2500 ECU, plus all the other goodies required to make around 800HP with as much Response as possible and want to be different and stay Twin Turbo. I want to use the G25-550 Turbos But can't find anyone (Not even Hypertune) that make a Twin Turbo Low Mount V-Band Manifold. I have been following the sau.com.au for many years But only now have the funds to complete my dream and notice that you seem to be right up with the knowledge on these cars and we have basically the same car. Can you help with this or do I just have to bite the Bullet and go Single using the G35-900? This will not be a Drag/Race car just a fun weekender.

    Thank you for your time

    Regards Alex (NZ)

  12. Hi Guys, Anyone know of a Manufacturer that makes a Twin Low Mount Exhaust Manifold for Nissan RB26 Engine to suit the "G" Series V-Band Turbos?
