ok sounds like a dumb question, but what is the going opinion on gearbox oils for a GTR R32 as I have a slight syncro noise on 4th, and was hoping that a better (read more suited to GTR) oil would be the go? while we are at it GTR power steering fluid? factory only?

ask yourself this, why do race cars (where performance is the ONLY thing that matters) have raw alloy radiators and intercoolers? hmmm.... ala F1 in the 80's and INDY CART now.... or any V8 super-taxi with a PWR built radiator... (good bit of kit for the GTR too!) my money will always on thermal efficency! not blending into car stylist looks etc..... game over

noticed 5000km was mentioned as a run in period is this seen as the mark for boost increases to higher levels?... I have an engine in exactly the same spec as itbilms (trust cooler and factory ECU) and it has currently done 1200km and had the 1000km oil change.... motul 8100.... I am running 13.5psi max with most running being done on the 9 psi low boost setting..... I have not taken it to the dyno as yet, as I have had the car for all of 3 days! just a few questions for those more in the know than I..... what is deemed a safe boost? Apexi FC seems to be the way to go, are bigger injectors needed? and will they bring a gain for the $$$ or are they just going to give a high potential later with other things done.... oil cooler? when is it deemed a must do? any worthy advice is certainly wanted you can never know too much about these cars!

As the title indicates I would like to hear from anyone out there with HA TEIN's good or bad comments.... ride quality for road / track and anything in between.... also set up advice etc.... basically open to all opinions and let's see what that brings!

but 20" are wank, and GTR rims are going to give some looks but mostly performance... have talked to snow man he is thinking about it..... anyone else want to sell up?

this hitman sounds like the sort of guy you can trust with your engine, as I have always been worried about guys that lean toooooo much! great figures on the day, but engine life is reduced a lot! as they say fuel never hurt an engine! so $300 for Hitman, and is the dyno or road seen as the go? price difference?

yeah guys, manual it is..... ok the next question is any recommended people to tune this effectively... I can source the FC from Japan or HK (saving about $500) so who will do a good job and not stress the car/engine.....

hate to argue strutto, but painted aluminium is far worse at heat exchange than the raw alloy.... just think to early 80's F1 cars and CART cars... no paint there! GTR man 1992 got it in one.... it is insulation, and is not good at all, the only reason cars had it was asthetics... i.e. to blend in... same deal for competion radiators etc... so if you can strip it safely ( i.e. not harming the metal, do it....)

ok I have adjustable cam gears trust FMIC and a 3" exhaust with N1 spec engine and steel wheel N1 spec turbos.... will the Apexi FC be the way to go?

As the title says I am looking for new / second hand coilovers.... BTW are tein's overly stiff for oz roads? or are they still good gear? any help would be great!!
