Id say grab the 40gb Japanese version. Yeah most BD movies are region locked, but FYI its cheaper to import the BD movies from the US from Amazon, and they come out sooner in the US. I bought I Am Legend, The Departed, The Last Samurai and 300 from Amazon.com, delivered to my door for a little less than $100 inc. postage. thats less than $25 per BD movie. what do you pay here? $35+? and again, the movies are released earlier in the states on BD than here in in AUS. Ofcourse there will eventually be an update sent out to make BluRay region free (whether official or unofficial), but ive got no idea when that would be... Ive heard though that some BD movies are infact region free, you just need to check... thats if you want to pay $35+ for a BD movie... Id only consider getting a 60gb console if you plan on playing PS2 games (alternatively, you could just pick up a PS2 and mod it if needed?). And id only consider getting a 40gb AUS PS3 if you genuinely want to waste your money. Unless you can find a cheap new PS3 or if you wanted to get a cheap used PS3. $460 for a 40gb PS3 on PlayAsia, shipping is about $60, and shipping takes 3 days, even over the weekend. Ive had mine since March and have had no problems. My mate has had his since December and had no problems (both White Japanese 40gb ver.). In the end, its up to you and how much money you want to spend/waste.

Sony have stated the PS3 will have a life span of 10 years since release. I dont think we'll be seeing a PS4 anytime soon. the next xbox on the other hand...

FYI, if the NTSC/U and NTSC/J version are region protected from PlayAsia, id recommend finding a good UK Online game store. They have R ratings, and run on PAL. might be a bit more expencive though... Thats where i got my un-edited copy of GTAIV for 360 from.

i cant remember, i havent played it for a couple of weeks... im up to the chapter where your in Russia (i think) and the greater fiend of fire blows up the tanks. last thing i remember doing is killing the big ass blind monster and then saving. Those rocket launching ninja's are total bullshit aswell. some enemies in this game shit me to tears. Someone shouldve told Itagaki that making enemies cheap, doesnt make it fun. P.S. someone needs to blow up the pound where those f**king ninja dogs came from. gaaarh... just thinking about this game annoys me.

I dont mind Ninja Gaiden 2, i just get too frustrated with it to find myself having fun with it.

Currently playing GRID. Its practically the street racing twin of DiRT (which i also enjoyed). Quite fun

A few games in there i wouldnt classify as AAA... Like Ninja Gaiden 2 and Saints Row? Ive owned both (still own NG2) and i personally wouldnt rate them that highly... Ninja Gaiden 2 seems quite dated... it doesnt really look any different the Sigma, and in terms of story/graphics in comparison to DMC4, DMC4 shits all over it... Saints Row didnt do too bad, only because there was no GTA out at the time... its gonna be interesting to see how big SR2 is now that GTAIV is out... and some games youve mention: (by TC Las Vegas do you mean Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas?) Splinter Cell Double Agent RE5 Star Wars: Force Unleashed Soul Calibur 4 UFC 2009 Fallout 3 Far Cry 2 Mortal Kombat vs DC Dead Space Project Origin End War Splinter Cell Conviction Fight Night Round 4 Aliens Have all been/Are all being released on PS3 aswell... If your going to argue on his intelligence because of what he missed out on, it might be smarter to only list exclusives... as hes not really going to have a problem with the multi-platform games... yeah ive been a fan since the 1st one on N64, jeez its come a long way... (although sometimes Brawl seems a bit like Melee 1.5...) The new characters are a great addition. Characters i use most are: Ike Sonic Snake Toon Link Peach I used to love Cpt. Falcon in the older games, but hes been toned down a bunch and just doesnt cut it with the newcomers... P.S. just a quick heads up if we wanna get some Wii/Brawl Friend codes up (wrote this up on another forum): For People who dont know their Wii Friend Code, or forgot to write down their Brawl code when connecting to WFC (like myself), and are unsure where to find it now, follow these steps: Wii Friend Code: - On the Wii Main Screen, Go into "Wii Message Board" (Bottom right hand corner) - Click on "Create Message" (Bottom left hand corner, rightmost icon) - Click on "Address Book" - On the main page it will say "This Consoles Wii Number:" And theres your Wii Friend Code, which will be 16 digits. Have had it since US release. Great game, even better with friends. Only problem is the main story gets stretched about halfway, but the story itself is cool, something SSB hasnt had before... I might jump online tonight, will probably be able to get a few more battles now its released in AUS.

Would recommend renting 1st, or even playing the demo... I bought it for $50 from PlayAsia, but theres no way i wouldve spent $100 on this... Seems to be a Ninja Gaiden 1.7 (Sigma being 1.5). still has camera issues blood effect issues, and have heard some enemies are not even challenging, just use cheap tactics...

This is my first MGS ive ever played (thoroughly) and i love it. Story and Characters are awesome, love the cutscenes and the gameplay is great. I cant even notice the difference between cutscene and gameplay graphics, if there is any! I wasnt dissapointed at all. Absoloutly love this game. Good work Kojima!! Have setup online, but havent played it yet...

Im already up to this part, but way to spoil it for people not up to it yet...
