watched DMC4 and Tekken 6 vids the other day, i gotta say for a $1000 system i woulda thought the graphics would be dayum... theyre abit average, seems like a half a step up from ps2... i hope they tune the GFX up before they release the games...

the 5 in 1 game is Wii sports i think. that comes with every Wii... its a free game... although $388 is not bad, ive only seen them being sold for the standard $399

i suppose its playable, i cant say much cause my laptop cant even run the Carbon demo... i suppose thats why im more of a console person, cause i only need to update every 4-6 years... that and i dont play many PC games...

im the opposite, ill be buying Wii and PS3 but ill wait on the 360 until its got some good firmware.

there seems to be more mistakes made then there should be, and even if mistakes are made, why should people be forced to have to pay for whats been done if it has turned out WORSE than what it was when they took it in? AND THEN they have the balls to try and jack up the price for something they didnt even do properly! its bullshit. if workshops wanna f**k people around like some of the stories above, then they deserve to be named, they obviously dont care about their work, their customers, or their reputation. Me being a newbie to the whole owning a car thing, am scared to take my car to any workshops. i have a limited selection of where to go that actually know about imports and modification. yeah i havent had any bad experiences with mechanics yet, but that doesnt mean ive got it coming to me. i dont want my car worked on by anyone who has done a f**ked job on a car (i.e. SiN's, ib6ub9's, Oscar32's experiences). and i dont want to be prioritised over a higher paying customer with a better car just because im an 18yo P-plater with a car that isnt a RWKW beast.

apparently its 70-80 hours of gameplay and hyrule is huuuuuuuuge. seems much darker than any other zelda ive played. i hope its not too much of a pain to use the Wiimote...

the 1992 movie was good because it was original from the game storyline (if youve noticed, it has one) where ken turns evil and not ryu... ive seen the KoF 4 episode anime and its pretty cool, some good fight scenes, they shouldve made a series for it, but they only made these four eps to advertise Maximum Impact 2. if your talking about KoF Maximum Impact 1 & 2 being better than street fighter, you should stab your eyes out with a fork. they are the worst games ever. but i guess the old school KoF were alright. this Live action could be interesting if they get the right characters, ryu and ken and akuma better be some awesome actors. and storyline better have some sort of tie in with the game and have absoloutly no connection the the 1994 live action film, the first live action had the shittest actors, and none of them could do anything special, they wasted all of the characters (like cammy, T. Hawk, Sagat, Vega, Dhalsim, blanka etc...) i wanna see some hadoukens and hurricane kicks and Shoryuken's etc...

read this awhiles back, the first live action was poo, but with the sort of GFX that are out now, this could be a really good thing, or a really bad thing. although even theyre animated movies are crap now, the animation is the worst ive ever seen. the only movie theyve made that was good was the 1992 Street Fighter II: The animated movie, was a great movie.

yeah i saw the Toys R Us deal for $600+ but im only after the Wii and zelda game at the moment, so a second game would really interest me... the good thing about the Wii is that its cheap, while i can still afford the PS3, its good to see a console that inst getting close to the $1000 mark... ive heard from some people in the states that the controls are actually quite easy to get used to and much better than the GC I wouldnt mind more info on SSBB, theyve done well with the previous smash bros, and apparently Brawl is supposed to have 40+ characters...

Well with the Wii being released this week i figured id chuck up a thread and see how much interest this console has... even though its not as hardcore as the 360, and nowhere near ps3, i reckon it looks heaps fun! i know ill be getting it for Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Smash Bros Brawl. you can also download games from previous systems, except the GameCube. so it should be quite interesting me thinks... plus the controller looks really funky, would only be game enough to play it in the privacy of my own home with no one around... ive heard mixed things about this being Region free. im not 100% sure if it is, but with the system taking normal size discs, it should be too long before this thing has a decent modchip So who's getting a Wii?
