$70 is reasonable but then again thats for a RB20...it might be more expensive for a RB25DET, i was told it had to come in from Japan..i tried asking the jap car mechanic shops, i even offered to buy it from them they were no help in pointing me to the wright direction....some C?NT even quoted me $770 just to change the rockercover gasket. "and i am 100% sure i heard him correct"

it would be much appreciated if anyone can tell me where i can purchase a rockercover (valve cover) gasket for a RB25DET engine...as i have searched everywhere like autobarn, bursons, repco etc they only sell vrs kits (whole gasket set) and it's like about $400 and also timing belt, none seem to have a listing apart from repco, they were on back order got to wait till mid late next year i was told...phhhht what joke!!! thank you.

i had the same problem on my 96 r33 ser II...if the fuel gauge pin drops slowly then its your fuel level sensor in the tank...if the pin flickers to empty then to full again then its electrical.

i agree 100% with u on that one allblitz....my apexi blue screen was taken but i had brand new set of disc rotors aswell as break pads just sitting there in boot was untouched. i just guess thats just part of importing.

is there any chance of insurance companys finding out if you had lost your licence ....would it be a good idea to lie to insurance companys about the loss of license in past years to save money or even to get insured!!!!!

when ever i called Justcars to ask question's i always get different answears from different reps. it might be a good idea to call the second time "even thought it's annoying that you have to wait" to ask the same question and you'll see what i mean, specially if there new on there job.

my car just came from japan and i noticed an oil leak from the rocker cover...so i thought i just get the engine all checked and do a MAJOR MAJOR service including changing every oil that can ever be changed on it. It's a pitty that the car is gone for compliance and its been 2 weeks already and still canberra is to send the plates down, the guys think it'll take another couple weeks. : ( Thanks ppl i appreciate your info.
