  2. best location i did have a boost gauge mounted in the drivers side window vent thingo for a while too
  3. I hung around while I was getting my boost controller tuned, they asked me questions on the car, what boost i wanted to run, mods, even where the instructions for the controller were... pretty lucky i was there didnt bother them and i was helpful...
  4. and if you dont get rid of it now more cash and tears will go into it!
  5. Wat can i say, its good value for money!
  6. Well a week later! And ive got a deposit on the car!!! Gotta sort out rego, and the highflow should be back on it by mid next week for the new owner!!!! YAY!!!
  7. i got a guy in sydney thats been doing it for 15 years, ive had 3 cars tinted with him 180-200 depending on time.... ive taken heaps of mates cars there, would NEVER take it elsewhere
  8. HAPPY BURFDAY YA FAT CARNT LOOOOOSE PANTS PROCEED!
  9. Pm sent chris, feel free to give me a call.... Picking up my new car this saturday, so therefore the skyline will be taking up room in the garage! I want it gone!
  10. blue will be easier to live with than the yellow one.... its ok baron, i know u got my balls on your mind
  11. 0-100kmh in 5.5sec, full boost by 1800rpm..... thats pretty fun in stock form, chip, exhaust intake will make it a sec or so quicker easy! Heading down to canberra again tomorrow to drive this blue one impact_blue - thats why, dont have the time on my hands to tinker anymore!
  12. depends if the new owner wants it or not.... UPDATED with interior and engine bay shots.... just gave it all a quick wipe and what not.... the engine i didnt touch, that needs a detail though... THanks
  13. Sorry for the Delay on the interior pics, was test driving cars in canberra thismorning... Ill get up early tomorrow morning and clean her and take pics then!
  14. lower profile tyres, less movement in the tread, and generally a worse drive... get used to feeling every bump in the road
  15. Thanks for the sweet comments mate, your making me not want to sell the car now!!.... Update - looks like the turbo should be fixed by end of next week if all goes to plan so it will be back at her brutal speed... Ill take some interior pics tonight and post them up... Thanks
  16. give me your car sammeh and ill happily drift it anyday.... dont worry mate ill get the Haldex Diff upgrade to make the car more RWD biased and come drift it It is to a certian extent, its got full audi service history so ill continue that on so i get good resale, not audi servicing but im mates with an audi specialist, im not going to mod the engine much apart from intake, exhaust, chip and later down the track RS4 turbos and intercoolers.... Ill more than likely do suspension/ sound system myself and brakes...... Its more the fact that i dont want to be stuffing around with cars in every spare minute i have, yeah i enjoy it but not if i have to fix a car before i go to work the next day.... im buying one that is quick, complete and i wont want to mod for a while... its just a time constraint mainly and the fact that i want to get in, have fun, take it on long journeys and not worry.. GoldZilla - the best thing is that everything RS4 bolts up to the S4.... so with RS4 goodies on it good for about 450hp
  17. i see hotter chicks at the coles up the road!
  18. sick how much did that set you back?
  19. hahaha im not a n00b to the euros thats my old ride, always loved the audis! will be happy hopping back in one... yes the parts are expensive, but the build quality, engines and drive is superior to alot on the road! Sewid- im mates with a couple of APR dealers, and a full exhaust in stainless turbo back is about 2.5k and to chip the computer will be about 1200 but that gives about 50more kw and 80 or so nm so there isnt much else you need to do! Ill eventually do apr stage 3 which will see almost 300kw at all 4 reliably! abo- yeah the newer models have the V8s thats what your thinking of maybe? turbo goodness is better IMO.... depends what brakes and where.... the afm is a bit dodgey on the one im buying and shall be replaced for $300 new one... not bad! WTF - i know ill love the s4, drove it for a while tonight, so refined and effortless i was just crusing through the gears and looked down to be doing 20+ the speed limit! that damn massive torque curve is to blame!!! insurance is less than half that of the skyline... go figure!
  20. thanks mate, she has been very reliable with still alot more left in her! i love the sunroof i couldnt have a car without a sunroof now! Ill miss her! maybe buy one as a drift whore later down the track! Someone could get the rims painted black in the centres, with chrome lip, the lip fitted and it would look 10 times better!
  21. servicing isnt too bad actually... its the parts that are a tad more expensive... but still not as bad as getting them overnight delivered from jaapaaaan im over my imports at the moment, its twin turbo sleeper time!
  22. thanks mate much appreciated, talk tonight
  23. Induction Twin Turbo intercooled Power 195kW @ 5800rpm Torque 400Nm @ 1850rpm-3600rpm Acceleration 0-100Km/h 5.7 secs Kerb Weight 1615kg Chip it and get an extra 60 or so kw and alot more torque, then exhaust and intake and im flying! Sorry mars! ill change it to Id rather have a big debt and a newer car than an old skyline when i can afford to pay off a new car!??
