Sounds like its crime time! I have no tint on at the moment, so I guess everything was visible if you look close enough. Im going to have to think about the location and hiding my goodies next time. Dirty dirty scoundrels. Still furious. Maybe go african style and get the gas outlets under my car. Or maybe get some amazing doors that slam on the intruder breaking any limb thats in the way and lock the rest of their body inside awaiting a beating. Ohh yeah.
-
Yeah sounds very similar! It looks like they cut the wires clean off after grabbing the sender unit, even had to pull away my carpet and panel to get to it.
-
Yeah pretty shitty hey, it is worth $100 or thereabouts though, less second hand. I smelt the fresh cigarette smell (i dont smoke) and freaked out before I even noticed the shit was gone!
-
Yeah the gear knob was on, its screw on and screw off unfortunately. Billet shifter I think they're called, like a diamond shape.

Cheers guys. Ant, I now know exactly what you mean. I wish I had been paranoid before this happened and it may have been avoided. I thought it was safe, lots of people around, lots of cars around...I didnt park far away and my car could be seen from the entry doors to the shop. Now I even lock my doors while im driving, I feel like my cars a free for all...violated.

Hi .... I'm extremely pissed off! On Wednesday arvo I parked at the Kmart side of the galleria in morley for around 1/2 hour while i was shopping between 4.30-5.05pm. Someone broke into my car via the passenger side and stole a lot of valuable stuff I'd really like back. Most of the shit they stole has no worth to them without the other parts under the engine bay...f**king doosh bags, so they'll either try to sell them or dump them!!!! But it's costing me $1550 IN EXCESS!!!!! Cameras at galleria didnt cover the parking spot I was in so no footage (that's if security checked like they said they would) Here's the important stuff that was stolen if you can keep your eyes and ears out: GReddy Profec Eo1 Electronic Boost Controller (screen, controller and sender unit only) + Emanage box GReddy white electronic gauges GReddy Turbo timer (black with blue lit display) Radar detector Trust Gear nob Sabelt (blue) Double din head unit Grey Adidias shoulder bag of clothing, camera, ipod (unsure what esle was in there) BEWARE: just car insurance will not cover anything if it is not bolted to the car nor a permanent item...cds are not permanent car items- not covered, bag of items - not covered, emanage that was about to be installed but not yet managing the car- not covered! It hardly makes it worth making a claim.../end rant. Also if traders could keep a look out for suspicious enquiries on purchasing just the solenoid and wiring for profec e01, or the timer, or the gauges. Thanks.

I second that notion! Always get your potential new car checked out by a reliable mechanic, RAC even. I think the lesson has been burnt.

Sincere condolensces. I went through this last year, the best thing we did to get through the loss was to remember the happy times and laugh about them. And know that he'll have a party cranking up there when it's our time to go Rip.

Fark, did they have the keys for both cars or what? That's so dodge...stealing 2 CARS from the same house.
-
Fark, sorry to hear, it's such a shame unlicenced cars (on their way to being licenced) can't be insured. Very dangerous stage and have heard of it happening too many times! I hope you find it before it gets the chop.
-
Im sure someone would have a pair you could borrow. Do they have to be stockers though (im not educated on raws)? If no one on here can help, maybe ask Raheem (1vea47) at Jshop, or mayhem, or some wreckers if they'll let you hire em for the day.

She looks hot! Maybe give the 32 a really really good look over before you drive it again and a service. I trusted the seller that my car had the oil change when it first arrived in aus, wasnt until i did the next change i saw the jap filter still on and the oil was farked. So what's it packing?

Hi, Just hoping someone can lend me a battery to fit big terminals for a weekend? Beer reward if you must. Need to work out if the problems with my battery or the alternator. Would be much appreciated, thanks.

Cops Stickering Cars Coming From Drift Wa Event
SR32 replied to CruiseLiner's topic in Western Australia
hahah If the police think somethings illegal and give you a yellow, i don't think we should have to pay the pits to check unless what they 'thought' was illegal -> really is illegal (like a fine). -

Permits are a go for me! Saved me a yellow (but didnt save my points). And i dont have a bov, i think it's my filter that makes a similar noise and I know I'm going to have trouble explaining that one. And aftermarket air filters are legal - as long as they are fitted securely, you don't need and cannot get a permit for it. Before you go getting permits, I'd suggest you find out what you can and can't get permits for. If you're at the pits asking for a permit for your incar boost controller, your stretched rubber or mech diff, you'll find yourself having a list of things to fix instead! -
I failed at welshpool with a 1.5 way, clunking gave cause to have a closer inspection, then they found the hicas lock + other things, told me to go to tech department. Long story short, I told tech dept i was only there for suspension check. Cheeky sneakiness got the 32 passed the following week But if i ever have to go back, i'll still go to welshpool. Majority say it's the easiest to pass.

Thanks for the info 2gu up! I think I've already got skirts for gtr because they were glued on tight in japan to fit and have since come away giving a cm or so's space.
-
Thanks for replies, it's cheaper for me to get genuine gtr ones in perth!

As far as I know fixed backs are illegal in perth Sit in your seat if you get pulled over so they dont notice its fixed To solve the in and out issue = quick release steering wheel -
I want to fit 32 GTR guards on a 32 GTST. Are they going to bolt straight on? Modification needed? Am after an answer before importing the fenders and save dissapointment. Thanks

I'm not entitled to the grant, my bf has previously owned a home before we purchased our first one together I'd buy close to the ocean if i could afford it! Melki, how's about scarborough or a suburb near it?
-
Bah!!! the 2 storey house we've been most keen on just had a price increase of $7000!!!!!!!! *heartattack*
-
We purchased the house we are in a month after it's completion at a good price, so it was like building without the hassle (without gardens and some other minor bits which we didnt mind). We're not entirely happy with the house or the area, it's not something we could see ourselves in long term. So we've got our block and we'd prefer to build a home to our specifications and if we did it on budget, we could come in under what it would cost to purchase the house if it was established!!!
