Someonestolecc- hid lights are installed and they both have that box thingymagigy. One of them refuses to light up and charge as bright as the other hid light. The brightness of it looks as if it were a standard r32 headlight. Can anyone point me to some tech info on the hid lights?

One of my hid lights seems to be...not HID. The brightness & colour seems to be that of a normal globe. On rare occasions or if you give it a kick, it will go into HID mode. Wiring/bulb/any other suggestion? not too sure how the hid's work. Also with the standard headlights, sometimes they'd both come on straight away, other times they needed to be switched on and off quite a few times. Shitty wiring or something?

Ok, so im installing a profec e01 boost controller. Last thing ive got to do is power up the screen. This is where im having trouble. There are only 3 wires, ground/power/rpm. I tapped into the power (orange) wire that was powering up my head unit. Reconnected the battery and woopsies...the screen had power to it without the keys even being in the ignition. The head unit works fine on this and only turns on once the ignition is on. Im thinking this orange wire is constant power and i need to connect the display screen only to the ignition wire? Anyone know which one that is? help? thanks in advance

i can arrange a manual conversion on the cheap guys...so im sure we can work something out.

More info on this - Apparantly dynos need be serviced/reset after a certain amount of runs otherwise their accuracy fails. Think this may have something to do with it.

Thats kool, his car doesnt look boonga? maybe i didnt pay enough attention. So far it has cost me $20. I got some free perspex and the $20 was the cost to get it cut to size. Now I gotta get it fitted with glue and bolts. Dunno how though, any ideas? someone else with a sunroof- how is it fitted?
