  1. I have been trying not to drive on boost. Those ratios sound right (i lost my dyno sheet). I spoke to my mechanic and after giving him more info he thinks its just the fuel pump, so looks like i could be wrong and ecu may not need a remap!!! Will check pump, if not pump will replace ecu with stocker. Cheers
  2. Heya, after some suggestions. My 32 is running lean. On the dyno it was idling at like 18 (a/f) and im told it should be at around 12 The ecu was remapped in Japan and im guessing to suit their 110/115 octane fuel. I think that is more than likely the problem, although have not checked fuel pump yet. Injectors are 650cc so they should be ok i guess. It's going in on the dyno again to see if the problem can be located. If the ecu does need remapping (which i currently cannot afford) can anyone suggest a cheaper, short term alternative? Am using octane boost at the moment. Cheers
  3. temporary stockers on front...dont ask
  4. lol @ hoonocaust. Steve- "Strange isnt it, you can get done for DUI, or in excess of 0.05, and what happens? but if you dare do a burnout, TAKE THE CAR." Too right! The more you look into laws and compare the sentences, the more you will realise how wrong they have prioritised.
  5. this turbo pulls and pulls and pulls and ... ya know.... pulls!
  6. *takes a deep breath* PASSED PITS TODAY!!!!!!!!!! 2nd inspection and not everything from first inspection was rectified. Got permit for vmount, strut braces, carbon fibre bonnet etc!!! Oh what a lovely day
  7. Sweet action! On a "mainstream" channel and coverage was a lot better than the last drift event on sbs i think it was. Thought it wouldnt be as exciting to watch as jap drifting, now im thinking about taking the trip over east to watch the next semi's
  8. Compliance is all done. it wasnt done by a workshop, rather a highly recommended gent. I paid for the major stuff that i couldnt do (side intrusion bars, fuel neck restrictor, engineers signoff, child restraints etc) and chose to do the rest of the work myself.
  9. Its not so much for compliance, but for licencing (passing pit inspection).
  10. Ive got a cyclops cat 4 alarm 2...with microsensors. You can also adjust the sensitivity. (so it doesnt go off like mine when a leaf rubs against your car, haha) Here is a link to silviawa. Raheem is the man to see. Done alarms for many people i know. http://www.silviawa.com/forums/index.php?s...?showtopic=4503
  11. Just a little update...if anyone cares. Engineers certificate a.o.k! Went to the pits last monday and i think i got off quite lightly! The bonnet is raised slightly, needs to be level with side pans, vents/pin holes need to be covered up. I have to take the mech diff out...i thought i might be lucky and it wouldnt clunk when he test drove it, i was wrong And I have to remove the hicas lock bar. Almost licenced this baby! yay!
  12. No vents alloud, have to also cover up holes where the bonnet pins where. Hope this helps others in the future. That is all

  17. As my car was manufactered before 1995 the pits will have no problem with it having a carbon fibre bonnet... BUT i dont know whether or not they'll pick on the vent that is facing the windscreen. The vent is ontop of my vmount intercooler (before the engine) and its not really possible for fluids to pass through. Does anyone know if they'll pass this? Should I block the vent up?
  18. if you find buyer for side skirts & rear bar i'll take front bar =)
  19. STILL WANTED TO BUY...help me... Original jap nissan rear seat belt buckles
  20. Would like the following please! Desperately needed! - rear seat belt buckles (will need to know whether they are orignal 32 buckles or adr, if you look on the seatbelts in the rear there will be a tag. If the tag says nissan with manufactured date etc or if the tag says another company and they are adr compliance) - bonnet latch bits (i just need the bracket that holds the mechanism in place under the bonnet and i need the release latch from in cabin) pm or email [email protected] Thanks
  21. Bonnet release cord sorted.
