  1. Looking at it and purchasing it are two different matters. Say he flies down and doesn't want to purchase it, he would then have no means of getting home apart from booking a last minute flight home which would cost a fair bit of $. Adds up to a pretty expensive inspection doesn't it On the other hand, if you're certain of buying a car flying down and driving back is a very viable option and I have done it before.
  2. If you'd be interested in selling the head unit seperate let me know

  7. Selling my "Cherry" coloured Jamo E650 floorstanders to free up some cash. These are beautifully crafted speakers which perform very well. They were purchased new a year ago and had a RRP of $1299. They are very pleasant sounding speakers, which I would define as natural, warm, and accurate in their sound reproduction. Made in Denmark, EU. "The tall, slim cabinets aren't just visually elegant - internal bracing enhances the rigidity of the design, thus preventing undesirable vibrations from colouring the sound. The E 650 is a very slim Scandinavian designed floorstander intended to be used as either a front speaker in a home cinema system or as a stereo speaker" System: 2½ Way Bassreflex Woofer: (inch/mm) 6½ / 165 Midrange: (inch/mm) 6½/165 Tweeter: (inch/mm) 1 / 25 Power: long/short term (Watts RMS) 140/200 Sensitivity: (dB - 2,8V / 1m) 90 Frequency range: (Hz) 40 - 20000 Cross-over frequency: (Hz) 450 / 3000 Impedance: 6 ohms Total volume: (liters) 51.1 Weight: (kg/lb) 14.50 / 31.97 These speakers have been kept in fantastic condition, and I would go as far as saying they are pretty much as they came new, no scratches, marks etc. Local pickup only please, as I'm quite sure I only have 1 of the original boxes laying around here, and postage would be quite costly I'd imagine in any case. Reserve - $400 Instant - $420
  8. Hi, yep my springs are lower than standard. I think they might have been green also, maybe a package that comes with the shocks?
  9. Indeed. f**k this other bloke who has ripped off Mark's design, I know I'll stay a loyal customer to him - he makes an excellent product and was the original innovator!
  10. Ahhhhh. Ain't it grand to live in QLD
  11. Got my car up on a hoist today and discovered I have KYB Climb gear suspension in the front and back. Not 100% sure on the springs though. Are these any good? Has anyone else come across them? Just seeking some info on their characteristics etc. Cheers
  12. Isn't this cheap enough?
  13. $10,750 firm. I've found another car.
  14. $350 + postage if you get desperate mate
  15. Hey all, My R32 GTS-4 manual 4 door is up for sale. These are quite rare cars, particularly hard to come by in the 4 door variant, with factory 5 spd manual transmission and the atessa 4wd. To give anyone a quick rundown who doesn't know, the GTS-4 are the top of the line R32 skyline, below the GTR. They have the same: brakes, gearbox (different ratios though), ATESSA 4wd system, suspension setup, etc as the GTR. They are powered by the RB20DET motor instead of the RB26DETT. These cars are much thougher than the normal GTS-T as they have the GTR box (everyone knows how weak the GTS-T boxes are) so if you plan to make some big power with this car it can easily cope with all the GTR running gear. The car is essentially stock, apart from a 3" turbo back Kakimoto japanese exhaust system, and HKS mushroom pod filter. I have one of the t-piece boost controllers everyone has been raving about on Skylines Australia fitted and running the stock 10psi. I've performed all necessary maintainence on this car to keep it in excellent condition and ensure it is good for many more years to come. Recent maintainence includes: * Major service (New genuine Nissan timing belt, genuine Nissan water pump, cam seals, fuel filter, etc.) * Oil always changed every 4500kms with Motul Turbolite 4100 and genuine Nissan oil filters. * Brand new front and rear brake pads 2 weeks ago. * Brand new rear tyres 2 weeks ago, front tyres are good also. * Front wheel studs/threads were all replaced a week ago as some genuius had previously crossthreaded them and taken off all the thread, they're all brand new. Here's what else has been done: * Rear spoiler professionally removed (no holes in boot) * Injectors cleaned/flow tested * New fuel pump * Brand new set of 6x coil packs (all resistance tested on a multimeter and were perfect, old ones were on their way out) * New spark plugs Here's a rundown on the car itself: * R32 Skyline GTS-4 manual 4 door/sedan * R33 alloys * Silver in colour * MOMO steering wheel and IMPUL gearknob * 3" Turbo-back Kakimoto exhaust system (nice and quiet) * HKS mushroom pod filter * Skylines Australia T-piece boost controller running stock 10psi boost * 119,000 klms (major service and thorough maintaince performed as per above) I take it the klms are actually original on this car as the original water pump/timing belt were still on the car when removed. Condition would indicate this is right too. * KYB hillclimb shocks (little bit stiffer than stock, but still very comfortable, nothing like stiffness of coilovers and handles exceptionally) * 6 months rego * Small dent on the left hand side of the front bar (previous owner had a little carpark encounter ) Nothing serious at all. * This car is very straight and looks awesome in the silver This car is in very good condition, gear changes are very smooth and no crunches or anything like that. Has ALWAYS been garaged. Just to let people know in advance, I am not interested in any trades unless you have a non turbo silvia worth around $5k + cash adjustment Selling to consolidate some money as I'm going overseas at the end of the year. The car is priced to sell.

  21. Gday all Was wanting to update the 89' model interior in my R32 4 door and came across a cheap set of 1993 coupe front + rear seats. Does anyone know if the rear seats will fit straight in? Or with minor modification? The sedans have an armwrest in the back which the coupe's don't, could cause any problems? Cheers
