  1. f**k mate, you could have replied to my PMs
  2. 3G is only worth it to people who use the extra functions of the service. For people who use phones to make voice calls and send SMS (I for which am one of them) 3G is useless. The phones are bulky, generally have buggy software, and have a lot less battery life due to the extra functions embedded in them. The 2G networks are still going to be around for a loooong time so this guy is speaking shit in an attempt to score the phone for a bargain price. I'll offer $250 + postage + cod. Forgot to ask, where are you located?
  3. Would you accept $300 + postage?
  4. No mate, it was sold some time ago.
  5. Hi I will definately take the card for $50 Please PM me your payment info so I can DD the cash. Cheers
  6. Yep, by the way I've seen things done by them so far I'm pretty certain in saying they would do the job but would by no means do the best possible job. I'm pissed I lost my $200 deposit but I'm glad I didn't buy a $7000 car that would need another $3000 spent on it, then I could have just gone out and bought an excellent example for $10k.
  7. Just called the workshop and they said they did use an external gauge. They recommended I don't touch it so that's probably what I'm going to do
  8. Good question. I'm not sure exactly how they tested but the guy who owns the car asked if it was a faulty gauge and they reckon they eliminated that from the equation. Is there any real way to test if the oil pressure is low if these stock gauges are so bad? Car has ~66,000km on it. I'd be getting it for a tad under 7K.
  9. They tested it using the gauge, but they said they made sure the gauge was working first, as sometimes they are a bit of a problem and don't work properly. I still might purchase the car if the seller fixes everything. My question is, taking into account these issues, will the car be in good condition once the problems are fixed or has long term, expensive damage been done? Anyone have experience with the low oil pressure problem and what does it mean exactly? Thanks
  10. Hey everyone, I had a car inspected today I was about to purchase. Its a 1989 R32 GTS-t 4 door auto. The pre-sale inspection revealed: ENGINE HAS VERY LOW OIL PRESSURE Needs air filter - coolant overflow lid missing Caster arm bushes split Left hand steering rack split Steering rack leaking Left hand rear strut boot missing Rear discs need machining Exhaust system has heavy corrosion Rust in boot floor Right hand light has moisture in it The inspection was carried out by the guys at Brisbane Turbo & Tuning Center Woolloongabba. They said that fixing the low oil pressure problem would require the engine to come out and then be put back in and would cost about $2k to have done by a workshop. What do you guys reckon about the report regarding the car? I'm not familiar with how serious or non-serious a low oil pressure problem is, along with a few of the other issues. If its fixed will the engine be ok again or is there a chance it has incurred long term damage? Do all the things on the list have to be addressed and are they expensive? Are these problems consistent with many 1989 R32 GTS-t's? I expected a few small things to come up. Opinions please Cheers
  11. Hey, Will this fit into a 2 1/16" a-pillar pod?
  12. Are these a direct fit to R32 GTS-t?
  13. There's a very nice blue Cefiro here in Brisbane, looks low with coilovers and appears to have one of those URAS monkey magic kits
  14. Hello, Bought this case recently but need to sell it to fund a laptop purchase for uni studies. Great looking case, and comes with 4 pre-installed fan grilles. See pics below. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, NO POSTAGE SORRY. Instant sale price - $70 Cheers
  15. Could you point me in the direction of where to get one of these R32 GTS-t full manual conversion kits for 900?
  16. High flow RB25 turbo or HKS2530
  17. Has anyone found a particular brand/model/speaker size combination (eg. 5 1/4", 6" etc) that fits straight into the stock holes without requiring a pod to be fabricated? I want something a bit more normal in size instead of the 4x6" as theres not much choice out there for speakers that size.
  18. I'm going to ask these guys how much for an RB20DET manual converison If they can do an RB25DET one for $2500 with the gearbox being worth so much, an RB20DET one should be about $1700 or less!
  19. Are these pumps noisy? I hear the GTR ones are noisy. I want something quiet. Thanks
  20. Can you get something similar but a little lower spec'd? I only have about $500 to spend. Need a notebook for uni. Cheers
  21. Hi Front bar is standard. The car is an M-spec, but I don't think it has the M-spec kit with the skirts, pods, and different front bar. Its just the standard GTS-t front bar I believe. Haven't decided which piping route I'm going to take. What would you suggest for my situation? Nope no fog lights
  22. Hey everyone I'm considering buying one of those hybrid copy FMIC's at the moment, got a choice between the 450x300x76 or the 600x300x76. Now, the 600x300 one looks pretty big, a bit bigger maybe than a GTR intercooler. Can this make the install job harder? I mean, I wouldn't be utilizing the 600x300 one to its max potential as the most boost I'm ever going to run will be under 20psi. Would the install job be easier with the smaller 450x300 cooler and would I have to cut/modify the front bar or anything to get it to fit? Thanks
