  3. http://www.r34gtt.net/r34workshop.html this also has R32 and R33 manuals, not just R34 information.
  4. http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au/ will tell you everything you need
  5. i've already spoken to an instrument place, they said they need to be instructed on what to do, so that's what i'm trying to do, find out what they need to do. i figured, like you, that they'd be able to do it easily, apparently not....
  6. just wondering if anyone has put EL dials in with the speedo changed to read up t 300km/h rather than 180km/h? if so, what did you have to do to change the needle to the new scale? i've arranged the dials, but they can't tell me how to modify the signal to the speedo.
  7. i'll be there. was getting kicked out of the house anyways, now i got somewhere to go.
  8. does the r33 manual have a circuit diagram for the instrument cluster
  9. That only works it you get the standard 180km/h speedo dials, i'm looking at getting a 300km/h speedo, which requires the speddo sender signal to be modified (calibrated) to the new scale on the dial. installation isn't a problem for me, just getting it calibrated. dale (my bro) put 300km/h dials into his gtir 6 months ago. think think toby may have helped him. he just needs the cabilration done also. i believe all they do is put a resistor into the wiring.
  10. Lionel Otto Instruments Pty Ltd 124 Evans Rd Salisbury QLD 4107 ph: (07) 3277 3888 http://ottoinstruments.com.au/ if anyone does contact them for a price, let us know, i won't get a chance to for a few days.
  11. yer, the autoshop website has instructions on how to install the sets they sell, the demo car is even a R33. but if you are still wary about doing it yourself, any autoelectrican would be able to do it. i'll be doing mine myself though. if you really want, maybe getting some help at one of the dodgy mechanic days is an idea, would save the cash on paying for labour for the autoelectrican.
  12. i found a place that does them www.etronicauto.com . they don't advertise them on their website, but i emailed them last week and they said can modify them for an extra $35 on top of the $275 for a standard set.
  13. has anyone come across somewhere that sells EL dials with a speedo that goes up to 300km/h to suit skylines? my brother has a set for his GTiR. i've had a good look around on the net today, but to no avail.
  14. yer, it's funny how emotion doesn't pass over with text, espeically sarcasim. get's me in trouble all the time.
  15. i'm not an arrogant prick, I'd wave back if i saw ya.
  16. looks great, and i've even considered it, but i'd be worried about smashing the windows on the roof when parked undercover
  17. i've bought an R33 GTST, hopefully picking it up tomorrow.... anyway, i was talking with Northfield yesterday about what way we're going to go with the audio, and there were differing opinions as to whether Skyline come with a space-saver or just an air can. Can someone please enlighten me. thanks... Shane
