Well I'm not any fraction of Ice Performance but I'll still recommend them. Not only did they find my car for me in the first place but they've made sure everything was cool with it since I bought it. So when it comes to having anything done, ain't no one touching it but them. Maybe an advertising slogan is in order?.....,hmmm. How about "Make sure your import is always hot to go. I spose a Skyline doesn't make much sense up in the tropics. Its to hot and the roads can't be that great. Although the roads in Townie were OK. They had great wide corners without much traffic and with nice smooth long straights. Leewah was there aboout 2 weeks before I went up and thought that out near the airport in Townie there are some wicked long stretches where his monster could have had a crack at the big three zero zero. Both Leewah and I agreed that our Lines should go with us next time.

Hey Denham, I've tried this one before. I was up in Townsville in July. I saw a 2 R33 GTST, 1 Supra and a nice R32 GT-R. I enquired if they were on the forum but my search yielded nothing. There just don't seem to be many Liners or import drivers that far north.

I'd love to come up but, alas, I won't be able to. Mostly because I won't put in the effort required. Nice thought tho.

BTW: I have no idea what where INASNT's car is nor does my father have an F355. But you already knew that.

Its got a fair bit but still not enough. The boys at Ice were racing it against Leewah's monster and it kept getting murdered. Not suprising tho. I raced Leewah's beast with my Dad's F355 and I got hacked to bits. Not that the Rarri ever stood a chance.

Look at the bright side guys. A) At least the cops are showing a tiny flicker of good taste. B) Maybe with the best import money can buy on the force, the cop's opinion of imports will change for the better. They could be trying to eliminate the "us and them" mentality which exists within both the import community and amongst the police.

Yeah it sux, yeah its difficult and yeah there are few other options. But unfortunately the Govt isn't gonna build a dragstrip closer to Melbourne just because a tiny minority, yes we are tiny in their eyes, wants one. Nor will insurance companies drop public liability premiums which would lower entry fees. We all know how much $$$ there is to be made. Why should they charge less when they are making a killing? Would you? Ppl who wanna race have two options, legal or illegal. One way is expensive and involves little return for your money if there are big turnouts at the tracks. The other leads to increased negative police attention, tougher penalites for traffic infingments and higher vehicle insurance premiums. Coming from someone who has no interest in racing his skyline this prolly sounds cheap but my advice is to get used to it. Either pay the $$$ to do it legally or pay the price by going illegally. the choice is yours.

Ok, please excuse my ignorance but "on paper" it appears the Skyline is set to annihilate the VL. Am I correct? Mid 11's aint that bad it it? Not just for a VL but for most cars to pull mid 11's is pretty good I thought. Correct me if I'm mistaken tho.
