  1. Good to meet you Kahli A mixed group of cars and people, but all friendly Cant remember all the names, but a few from SAU, and lots of others.
  2. Do you have a standard one? From memory, there are 2 lines (connect the same as your turbosmart one, it one to yhe intake, then via the boost controller abd then down to the wastegate. There should be a smallish plug comming out of the factory loom to plug into the controller.
  3. Can you send me a PM My car is back on the road, so time to get out there and be seen If the cruize starts way down south is there a meet point towards the north that you will stop at and I can catch you there?
  4. PSI hit the nail on the head There is a thick bead of silicone that runs around inside the timing cover. I purchased some automotive silicone and replaced the factory bead with my own, let it dry and now its all fixed.
  5. I took off the timing cover and had it chrome plated, but am having trouble on the install. (I am not as technically inept as this sounds LOL) When I bolt it back up there is no tension between the cover and the 2 top bolts (2mm gap and I purchased new rubber spacer/washers) I don’t recall any gaskets or additional spacers that sit behind the cover from the removal. (sort of hoping this may be my problem, but the engine manual doesn’t show any either) Can anyone offer any advice? I realise that a firm fit isn’t essential, but I doubt Nissan stuffed up and made the bolts too long.
  6. Dont know the part numbers, but last time I checked Nissan wanted way too much for them. Any reason you arent going for aftermarket, I think it cost me less than $200 to have a new screen last time.
  7. Weak effort Andrew Baby schnitzel, Wuss out on the cruise; Play with a toy gun ....... Someone is getting soft LOL
  8. Bump Just a reminder that the blood donation is on the 1st of May (less than a month away) Please PM names if you are going to attend. Guy
  9. late responce, but I can make it now.
  10. Congratulations Cara, and commiserations to your partner LOL (there goes another happy single guy)
  11. Very few bikes. The bike section had Kawazaki, Suzuki and Yamaha trade displays and a few scooters. The Hot Rod hall had 1 chopper with trin pipes exiting underneith the seat, and high monkey bars.
  12. I spoke to the guy at the Nissan stand and asked if any had been imported. His reply was that if the car isnt bought in by Nissan Australia then it could only be used as a track car (ie non compliable) and that Nissan wouldnt even sell the owner an oil filter unless they can provide the VIN to confirm its an Australian released car. I mentioned that nearlyt every time I go to get a part for my skyline they end up importing it anyway, so I doubted it would cause much grief for an owner as Nissan Japan would sell the parts, and that the Tuning houses in Japan offer more aftermarket support anyway. He had to agree, but wasnt happy LOL
  13. double post
  14. I rarely ride a bike now, but have owned and ridden lots over the past 26 years. For those that haven’t had a bike you don’t know what you are missing, for a few grand you can get a bike with such great acceleration it rolls back your foreskin (never came close in a car). Having said that there are a lot of idiots on the road who aren’t bike aware, and unfortunately even little errors can have huge consequences. I’ve fallen off bikes at 100km/hr, skidded along and hopped up and driven away, but a mate came off at 20K on gravel at an intersection and had to have his leg rebuilt and learn to walk again. I think once bitten you always love bikes, but with a wife and kids its more important for me to come home alive (most nights) than risk city driving on a bike.
  15. I gave you one vote as well I will give you more votes if you add a skank (suggest an afro american with junk in the trunk - in the obligitory G string as a nice contrasting colour to go with your car.) This is for Zoo afterall, not better homes and gardens.
  16. not local, but I get stuff from these guys http://www.ozmodchips.com/ they really know there stuff, and came highly recommended. Theres some interesting info on the Wii, and how to mod one, but depends upon the model.
  17. Congratulations
  18. For manuals try Nizspeed (Nisspeed? SP?), just a few doors down from Morpowa at Modbury North. I know they do manuals and have experience with GTR boxes for road and track use. Its a small opperation out of a shed at the end of a row of sheds (workshops) but the guys are very helpful.
  19. Its not that bad. A bit of cutting compound and a touch of black paint and it will be as good as new - trust me.
  20. Why? Having trouble sleeping, or just want to loose any last traces of a personality?
  21. Generally NO For passenger vehicles manufactured on or after 1/1/69 but prior to 1/1/75 the fitting of harness belts would only be considered on presentation of an engineering report prepared by a Chartered Professional Engineer which demonstrates continued compliance with ADR 5A - Seat Belt Anchorages. The fitting of harness seat belts to passenger vehicles manufactured to comply with ADR 4B - Seat Belts, i.e. manufactured on or after 1/1/75, is usually not permitted. Some manufacturers of harness seat belts have undertaken testing to the appropriate Standards and are marked accordingly. Appropriately Transport SA may accept marked harness seat belts in some vehicles providing the mounting of the harness is to an acceptable standard.
  22. Just dont cross the streams
  23. For 2 cartons you should get 4 people on here that would do it. Are you using it as protection in Paralowsie, or to hide bodies under? What is green, has 4 legs, lives in a tree, and if it jumps on you will kill you? A Pool table - funniestt joke ever back in grade 3 LOL
  24. Here is a copy of the donor form. Donor_Questionnaire.pdf If you answer yes to some of the questions eg have you ever had Cancer including a melonoma? this wont exclude you from donating but they will follow up in the interview with other questions. In my case the melenoma was over 5years ago, so I'm OK to donate. You get free food and drink even if you they tell you you cant donate, so come allong and give it a go.
  25. Sorry - posted in wrong thread
