  1. Ok, here are some other pictures Its taken a few days to recover, but it was well worth it.
  2. Jennifer is old news, she was replaced by the new Miss Universe Australia - Kimberley Smith Who I just happen to have a picture of Perhaps its my photos, but some of those girls would put a horn on a jellyfish
  3. Did you ask for the grid girls? I met them too.
  4. Just a few of my pics so far
  5. Its only the glue that holds dry-wall on, screws and nails are only there to hold it whilst the glue is wet. Ever wonder why you can sometines see screw heads through the skim-coat? its bacause the glue dries and pulls the sheet closer than the screw did - its not the screw moving out, rather the sheet moving in. Looking at the pics it seems the builder didn't build to code (or manufacturers specifications) I would claim he is in breach of SA Housing Code 10.3.1 (amendment 13th May 2005) - the bit about Extent of Work - shall be in accordance with manufacturers specifications CSR Gyprock (probably what you have) fact sheet can be found on http://www.gyprock.com.au/Gyprock/Content/...07_Ceilings.pdf - you are interested in page 20 Location Fixing & Spacing Field Adhesive Daubs at 230mm max. centres Sheet and 200mm min. from Width fastener points 900mm 2 daubs 1200mm 4 daubs 1350mm 4 daubs Clear cut case. If you havent heard from him soon tell him you will forward it to your insurance company and they will follow up with him for expences (and it will cost him more) Also get a building inspector (or insurance company) to check the rest of your ceiling, its probably just as bad but hasnt fallen down due to smaller spans. Additionally whilst the ceiling is down you are allowing aditional moisture etc. into your roof (assuming you dont have a party wall -and I cant see why you would), hence allowing for further damage in the future. hope this helps
  6. Was that at the same boost level, or did they increase the pressure to gain 50kw? And when did the new turbo come onto boost? Its the answer to all 3 of these questions (Q4 is reliability) that will make it a good turbo or a crap one.
  7. When I replaced my turbo about 2 years ago I shopped around and also spoke to a lot of workshops with Dynos. My general findings were that ATS could make a highflow turbo that could handel 14psi without stuffing up, but that they didnt produce any more power that a standard turbo at the same boost (and in mant cases workshops reported small to medium drops in power) The only garanteed success story was GCG whost turbos made more power than standard at any given boost, were reliable at over 14psi, and came on early (nearly the same as a standard turbo, which was another problem with other highflows which were laggy) I went for GCG and am happy with the results, my only other option was to look at an aftermarket turbu HKS2530 etc.
  8. Want 33 sedan (Series 2) taillights, will be painted but lenses need to be in good condition.
  9. spotted Ju2500 pulling out of the WCH carpark, waved and said Hi, got a WTF look LOL Spotter 2 girls in a silver 33 on North East Rd 10ish heading out of town
  10. I wont be able to make it due to Aust Vs India 1 day'er (its a day/night match) and because by 2pm my blood alcohol level should be too high to drive LOL Have a good time, I hope I can make the next event (assuming it isnt clipsal weekend because again my blood alcohol level should again be too high to drive.)
  11. I agree, but the reading sounds way too high for a stock motor. Either there are more mods than stated or the dyno is high. I dont believe in the "freak engine" theory as its way outside a blueprinted (all specs are spot on) range of performance. (and i assume this isnt a recently rebuilt motor)
  12. Spotted a black Stagea on Grenfell Rd (Surrey downs) mid day ish (was in a rush and didnt have time to wave) Thiunk it had a female driver, anyone here?
  13. Did you get a copy of the dyno sheet? Scan it and put it up here. I've been told that if they set up the temp, pressure etc incorrectly then you can get high figures (sounds like this is the case with yours) Drift Pig is correct that dynos are really for tuning not true figures, but if callabrated they should be close to the mark. I have many more mods and only make 30 extra rwkw, perhaps your ecu has been modified, or you have a high flow, but if not I doubt the 221rwkw figure is accurate.
  14. I found them on EBay (seller is from the Skyline Owners Culb UK) I think I'll get one of these as well, my front bar is missing something without a badge.
  15. Not sure many could really call themselves panel beaters any more, they are just glorified painters. They simply replace damaged panels with new ones and paint them. Des Higgins will do excellent work (best in Adelaide) but wont be cheap.
  16. Yes
  17. Been there, done that. (on a SAU cruse out gawler way) You should have seen the face on the STi driver as we pulled past him in a GTSt sedan (and he started infront) LOL
  18. I have a few problems with this story: 1: - like the skyline wouldnt cain the WRX 2: - if the WRX was winning (ie the skyline was loosing) how did it swerve (obviously from behind - otherwise he wasnt loosing) and make the car in front loose control. I would have thought that only the car infront could make that move unless a car behind clips the rear bar. 3: - like the skyline wouldnt cain the WRX (i realise this piont is repeated, but its such a big error it deserves to be mentioned twice)
  19. Spotted a silver 33 pulling onto Richmond Rd around 5:30 with an SAU sticker Spotted a black 32? numberplate - skyline, outside Marlesdon TAFE around 5:40
  20. Great day, and great cars Good to meet you all and put faces to some of the names on here. Thanks also to Mark for letting me drive th GTR, nice car, hope I didnt break anything with those high RPM launches. LOL
  21. Coles on the A14
  22. I'm fairly sure "Iron Maiden" is a clasification for judging. Its basically a chicks only clasification to find the best car owned ny a girl. The "must be registered in HER name" bit is to stop blokes entering a good (but not a winner) car as being their wife/girlfriends so they can collect a prize. (It happens a lot)
