  2. could be loose connections but im sure its the motor. mine did the same before it shat itself and i was stuck havin to open the door all the time at drive thru's:D:D start shoppin around for a motor now....its only a matter of time..LOL
  3. thats terrible......like prae said, be there for the kid, make him know its good to talk things out eventhough its hard to. the only thing that he needs now is family support.
  4. haha...that does sound wrong doesnt it....LOL i take SK's advice as gospel:D:D
  5. i got it off demon who was wreckin his gtr and it was only the motor that i needed, he gave me a very good and fair deal, it would have come with the attaching arms but i didnt need it ......why replace everything else when it aint broke..thats my logic:D:D someone esle here on the forum picked up one from a wrecker for $120 just the motor.
  6. "For those installing themselves use never seize grease or some sort of lubricant or grease on the thread as they are dissimilar metals and can become locked from corrosion." quoted from john. is this what your talking about? do u mean to leaving it raw as in where the ball is? from what i can make of it he reccomends to use grease on the thread and nuts. doesnt say anything about the ball joint so i guess u dont need to lubricate that then??
  7. ive learnt to live with it:D:D
  8. "illegal" i like the sound of that:D sweet, yeah i think this is the same avenue that im gonna go too with the whiteline camber kit. are you running a rear camber kit already?? do u think there will be any issues with running just the front camber kit only?? by the way, what grease are u gonna use?? i was thinking using some top grade marine grease for the castor rods.
  9. prices vary from 500-600 for a decent one in good nick. which is close to the same price as r33 ones which are bigger i think.
  10. all i can say is "like wow"!! glad i didnt have to pay that much for mine.
  11. traction tyres and centreline deal with whiteline products..
  12. i dont seem to have any problems as a daily driver. also done the auto water spray using the solenoid too. ive got an in cabin switch for it and its hardly used except for the ocasional off the lights, overtaking, or when i feel like some fun. no downers for me from this mod. i did notice once though that when fagin it on hi boost(7psi) it took a while for the power to be transfered even though the turbo was screeming. maybe thats what ur talking about??
  13. i remember seeing some cusco replacement bushes on nengun but it wasnt a kit, only for the upper arms i think. price im sure would have been $$ just for the name. all comes down to best bang for buck for me:D:D
  14. hey guys, ive got my adj castor rods sitting here and im sure that ud have to get a wheel alignment when fitting them on. figured id kill two birds with the one stone by replacing whatever front bushes that can be replaced with new ones and having the wheel alignment only done once. does anyone know if theres any kits outthere like whiteline. does this sound like a good way to go about it? cheers
  15. no theyre not a sealed unit...very easy to open. my old one looks like it only needs the bush replaced to work again. prices vary from 120 -150 and u can interchange the passanger/driver motors with each other by swaping the gears around.
  16. Jenga!! Jenga!! Jenga!!
  17. thanks peeps
  18. the only ones i know off are for the series 2
  19. hey guys and gals, does anyone know where i can get those mats that u put on our front guards so u dont scratch the paint when workin on the engine..how much do they go for? managed to do a good job of scratching mine while changing my sparkies yesterday. wouldnt mind if it had SAU VIC on it either:D:D could be another SAU merchandise to help with funds:D cheers
  20. dash light and tailight fuses are in the boot if u ever blow in the future. red 10A from memory. dont tell me ur takin it to a sparkie for a blown fuse??

  24. singapore rocks!! bit of a concrete jungle though...hows the humidity:D:D yeah when i was there the majority of modified cars worthwile lookin at were evo's and wrx's. skylines are rare as there. managed to spot a white r34 gtr on the freeway on the second last nite there but that was it. good old zouks:D its crazy how people pay 100k for a 20k car back here. if u wanna see riced up shitters go to malaysia, oh man, and the way they drive there is crazy!! makes me appreciate my care more when i come back from countries like those.
  25. if only these fitted a 33. the r32 gtr grilles are my fav's
