  1. i personally dont like all the rice stuff but its ur car and you shouldnt give a shite what other people think about it but like dayne said its VERY expensive. i know that before i bought my r32 i had heaps of plans. but still after 9 months i havent even got around do doing half of them
  2. POOMBAH is the the car u r talking about? one of the nicest gtrs ive seen
  3. for car audio go to http://www.caraudioaustralia.com/forums/ AWESOME site and you will learn everything u need to just by reading through the posts
  4. also a lot of people are using stock r33 turbos on the rb20det the r33 turbo can produce about 180rwkw but i wouldnt turn it up to 15psi its a direct bolt on (make sure you get the inlet elbow) and very cheap. do a search as heaps of people are doing it
  5. an r32 with those mods boost about 11-12psi normally a few people have turned it up to 15-16psi with no dramas but a lot of other people blow turbos
  6. are you guys sure theier workshop is still there? i drive past there all the time and dont see any cars on the corner anymore
  7. do u have pics?? if so can u send them to [email protected] also is it a GTR cooler or a cheap hybrid copy?
  8. i think a standard rebuild would be pretty pointless you wont get any more power out if it if your turbo is stuffed then for a cheap upgrade you can buy a r33 turbo. make sure you get the inlet elbow and oil and water lines. the standard turbo can be used for about 150rwkw while the r33 one can out out about 180rwkw r33 trubos sell for about $250-$500. but if you want something better you can spend about $1300 on a hks gt2530 which will make about 200rwkw. however, you need a decent fuel system, front mount etc
  9. high flow about $2000 and when they hgh flow it they rebuild it
  10. depends how much money u want to spend if you want only around 220-230rwkw then just use the rb20, if you want more then go the rb25
  11. just curious as to what the difference is bewteen a garret and HKS gt2530 are ive seen heaps of hks version but only for gtr/silvia engines, and ive seen heaps of garret version only for rb series engine. can u show my a pic of a HKS gt2530 and NOT a garrett 2530. i just dont want to buy the wrong one THX
  12. get a 1989 r32 gtst i think these arent ruled out. only the 1990-1993 r32s are
  13. 1984 honda prelude was such a sh1t box i couldnt even sell it. have to give it away to the postman.
  14. its just that someone sent me an SMS asking for my address i didnt even pay yet so there must be a mistake
  15. depends how much power u wanna make. there are A LOT of fake hybrids going around. many peole say they do the same job as expensive coolers but if you are going to get custom piping made i would spend the little bit extra and get one of better quality but if your cheap, like me, id get a cheap hybrid copy. im not after huge power so it should do the job
  16. http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...rch_distance=25 looking at the one above and looking and the engine bay pic. ask the seller for a few more pics of the engine bay especially of the cam-gear cover i cant tell from the pics but that little silver sticker may be from when a timing belt was changed. timing belts "usually" dont get changed till around 100,000kms. if it is a timing belt change sticker it will say when the timing belt was changed. this is just to make sure that its a genuine 69,000km car and not wound back like pretty much every other 1989 gtst the sticker could be anything but better safe then sorry
  17. sorry, havent looked at this thread for a while...my bad i havent paid for the AMP yet. if you have any spares or have one for me then ill take it. if not sorry for the inconvenience
  18. 550cc do they bolt straight in though? i though the plugs needed modification
