OK so by the sounds of it the torque converter is getting punished. Can this reck the gearbox?.

The main difference is a series 1 (1996to1998) and series 2 (1998to2001) S2 has a neo engine and triptronic auto and some manual S2 are floating around. S1 are all Auto except the 260RS RB26DETT which is twice the price. S1 and S2 are the same body shape but the lights a different, I like the S1 front but S2 back. For a 1997 RS FOUR I think they rang from about $17000 to $22000.
