I think they change all fluids as part of compliance? I don't know if I'd trust the compliance place to do a good job anyway so maybe change them yourself with good quality fluids if you're mechanically minded or take it to a mechanic you trust. Depending on how many km's it's done and whether or not you think they're genuine etc may be wise to change your timing belt/water pump etc as preventative maintenance. Maybe put it on the dyno to make sure it's running safe, fuel pump is healthy etc. Premium duuuuude, preeeeeemium! I would change oil at least every 5000kms since it's turbo. Any increase in psi will reduce the life of the turbo, so it's up to you. Anything over 14psi I believe will result in the ceramic exhaust wheel coming off? Also may want to look at getting a FMIC if you raise the boost. Check the for sale section for the wing, or just call somewhere that sells bodkits like Jetspeed and see if they have any. Yes, I think you'll find there are a few sunshine coast skyline enthusiasts around. Others will be able to give you more advice. Yes I know, but I thought I'd ask since the ad just says "Veilside Bodykit" and not Veilside-style or Veilside-copy. Plus the pics he put up are of a Veilside car. Not to be picky but I think it should be made clear it's not actually a Veilside bodykit.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I went to bunnings but didn't like the fluoro ones they had so I just got this heavy duty arlec worklight they have which holds a standard light globe (60W max) for $10. It's pretty good under the bonnet but I wouldn't use it inside my car because it would probably get too hot and burn something. I might look into the rechargable LED one from jaycar, I think my friend can get stuff from there through her work. EDIT: This one? jaycar work light

Hey guys, looking at getting a worklight so I can work on my car in the garage. Wondering what's better, LED ones or FLURO ones? Where is a good place to buy, I've seen some at supercheap and on ebay but not sure what they're like? Where else sells them? Thanks.

My car does this as well, did it with stock exhaust and still does it with 2.5" cat back exhaust with TRUST stainless steel muffler (no resonators or additional mufflers). As others have said seems to be worse when the car is cold, pisses me off cause I rev real slow leaving my street and it makes the noise around 2500rpm, sometimes I shift as soon as I hear the noise start cause I think it sounds sh*t. Only ever does it around 2500rpm-3000rpm never high in the rev range. Took it to exhaust shop the other day who installed my cat-back but he had NFI what it would be. He got under the car while I revved it but it didnt make the noise (I think it only does it when the car is under load). It's embarressing when it makes that horrible noise! Do you think it's worth getting a resonator put in?

Considering buying some new wheels for my NA R33. Must be 4x114.3 I believe. Would prefer if they came off an R33 so I know they'll fit (correct offset etc). Thanks.

Hey guys, was speaking to my mate tonight and he told me he wants to sell his wrx to buy a drift car and a trailer because he wants to get into drifting (as in entering drift competitions held on a track). I know drifting is expensive but he's a panel beater so he can fix the car himself if he crashes, he's already got a guy he knows who is willing to be his mechanic and he is going to see if he can get sponsorship from a tyre place because he's good mates with the owner. He used to get to practice on a private track he had access to but at the moment he doesn't get to drift at all so he will have to practice a bit before going in any competitions I imagine. So basically I'm just wondering if anyone can give me some advice etc which might help my mate out?? Any other things to consider, hidden costs etc would greatly be appreciated. This is his dream at the moment so I want to help him achieve it but also make sure he isn't getting his hopes up. What is needed to get access to use racetracks to practice? How do you enter in these drift comps? I'm not sure what else to ask so just any info you think might help would be great!

Didnt you just get rid of your wrx to get your r33 gts4 back? and now you're asking if you should swap that for a s13 silvia?? I think you need to figure out what it is you want.
