  4. We love the stack too! (as currently in the r32) but just wanted to try something a bit more flexible like datalogging and gear display etc and local support.

  10. i would fully support it marty, & what i like is your not afraid to do whats needed! the racing side of things would really benefit !! big thumbs up
  11. oh....& really nice to meet you Roy , we really do need the pre race/ practise/ socializing day prior to the event !! hardly get time to scratch yourself on the day.
  12. top job harry!! nice tyre work! loooks a bit like the r35's they are very secondhand too
  13. yeah the s2000 is one hell of a car!! top job and yeah i couldnt care if pro drivers are used either, but maybe should be limited to one car so extra laps cant be had compared to anyone else (just a thought i dont really care either way) i personally love watching extremely fast cars being punted around a track on the absolute limit!! the times done this weekend is testament to that!! fantastic
  14. hi Adz hehe That was awsome mate!! i got to see your whole floor pan, good to see it didnt go over and love the commitment i had a great couple of laps trying to stick with you, the brakes in my 35 had enough as well!!
  15. hey peddler good to see ya , i need to come to another one of your days too hows the datto coming, we be good to see you tearing it up too minus the restrictors!! BTW great pics!!
  16. also congratulations to the the lotus boys on the shoot out time, it's a shame it wasnt included but everyone knows it did the time!! too bad about Marks shoot out time !! haha should have had me driving ( not)
  17. i love the two day format idea! for some better socializing
  18. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!!!!!!! Awsome event, Fantatastic to watch and be part of. really captured that driving on the limit battle , and great catorgory racing as well. The standard of cars was just superb!! It definately captured the Tsukuba type atmosphere and was really exciting , I cant wait to be part of the next one!!! Win or lose , i would not have missed it and anyone who wants a blast should give it a go! Huge congratulations to the AWSOME Lotus guys , superb driving and great to watch, Also was fantastic result for the BSM guys considering the issues prior to the event, was great watching Lofty's commitment into turn 1 & Bozzo's !!! To Arron sorry to hear what happen to your car mate, that should have had repercussions to Middleton & the way he was driving in pit lane! The r35 was just awsome, it truly is an amazing car, I reckon Bozzo would have pulled atleast another second off my time so a high15 low 16 would have been possible in almost stock form!! amazing also thanks to richard (beer baron) over the last couple of weeks with all sorts of miracles performed to get parts to me!! I had one part from japan delivered to me in about 12 hours from order to delivery!! we learned an awful lot on the weekend again! just as we did in Japan, bring on the next one!! love it cheers russ and John next time drive you own car, you looked like you really wanted to be out there, being slower doesnt stop me from having ago! drive it ya big girl !
  19. i think i know what my next race car will be!! offset some of my weight:) they must be awsome to drive David!!
  20. sorry to here that Steve i thought you were dry sumped? what happened
  21. sorry to here that Paul , thats bullshit!!! hope you get it back
  22. the r34 is getting the hans gear. as roy said ... light helmet & look at what is close to your head and beside you , good padding, window net when we are really serious like when door to door racing etc etc, thats what we have done for the r32. i saw a video the other day of a guy doing some club sprint stuff that managed to get his car up on two wheels on a curb , it then dug in and started to roll . on about the second rotation he half came out of the window and the car landed on him. ( i think he was only in normal belt) , terrible stuff & just a track day. russ
  23. you can never be too serious with safety.
  24. mark is into as we speak! alot of body modifying going on so very slow progress at the moment & the weekends are so busy getting ready for maryborough sprints the weekend before superlap then superlap !! hope to put some decent photos together soon to show the bits , i cant wait to see it come together it will be awsome no doubt! every body panel is carbon except the roof and front bar!! the quality of the parts body parts from japan are sensational very little needs to be done to them,
  25. John didnt you just watch jacobson's drag run!! didnt look like a straight line to me
