  1. Interesting times in v8's compared too time attack!!
  2. Hi guys the are great controllers And the new hardcore one is customizable you would only want it for dedicated high horsepower track cars, but really is fantastic for gtr's
  3. hi mate, yeah Darwin's good mate, beautiful weather here at the moment so loving that. yeah sarah was great, she really got the notes out perfect ( didnt get sick either!) we borrowed notes that ben and tim had written and they were heaps better than our old notes, an made a real difference.
  4. hey guys below is the link to a vid of sarah and i doing the hillclimb earlier this year,( thanks for the vid timmy!!) the sound is terrible sorry, (i forgot to check where the mic was, dohh !!) anyway it was great fun and the battle with Ben,Tim & Coop was fantastic. russ
  5. yes dont get me wrong either i love gravel rally, it also has the most skilled drivers on the planet in my opinion. i crewed for a gravel team for almost ten years. i used to love watching possum & neal battle it out in group A weapons and then the wrc cars!! i can still remember how fantastic possums liberty sounded in the forest!!! rallying is along way from that and i hope they find there way back sometime soon.
  6. i dont know whether a gtr is the same? but we use get shudder that appeared to be axle tramp alot, it ended up being the tailshaft centre bearing everytime! we replaced it regularly but in the end we went to a one piece tailshaft.
  7. the ARC in general couldnt get anymore boring if they tried. ( the only one having fun are those in the car) the cars are faster in the carpark. and please dont take this the wrong way as not a shot at you , but 25 entries being a big field is a bit of a worry. i remember going to state rallies in the early nineties when group A (no restrictors) were allowed ( and group g before that! ) with fields of 60 plus cars. for a rally to be worth it because of the effort to close the roads , volunteers etc you need large fields! just my opinion though.
  8. also check you tie rod nut tensions too. i have had them come loose
  9. yeah john get you s#@t together! thanks for the workshop use mate!
  10. in that vid of the r33 chasing down the porsche, thats an 800 odd horespower gt2 than Buce Hibbard owns and drives , awsome car & crazy man!!
  11. thats a classic mate! i can just see you setting a farmers crop on fire too!! the coverage would be a sure thing!

    Stack Dash

I like the stack, as i am only really interested in the tacho when your at full flight and they have great tacho's the react fast. also very easy to see warning for over temp, low oil , which scrolls up when a problem occurs. mark has an aim in the r34, which is good too and data logs all the info also has a laptimer and it's back lit with bright led's for shift lights.
  13. alot cheaper than the r32
  14. so on the superlap theme .. anyone want to buy a nearly going r33 gtr with lots of good bits.!
  15. haha... should come to Darwin then Timmy, 32 dgrees and 100% humidity!! just dandee
  16. lol...benny loves the man love
  17. anyone notice all the steam inside the r34 in the photo on the last page! hahaha and water coming out the sill
  18. the r32 was great fun to drive, i must admit i kept baulking myself with the recent brake issues i have had and the nice big hit at the creek afew weeks ago. the holinger is superb!! , i borrowed suspension on thursday from beer baron as we didnt have time to revalve and respring the ohlins in the car. ( thanks again mate) they were much better but with some much grip the sping needed to be nearly doubled. alsoa big thanks to John Pelington for letting us use his shop to rebuild the engine and change it over! congratulations to all the competitors for some awsome driving and some beautifully presented cars, some of the times are a real credit to the drivers. ( also not many big issues for the speeds etc)
  19. By the way lofty awsome job mate! And good to finally get to meet you properly
  20. hey guys what a cool event that was!! from the experience we had in japan, superlap 2010 was better than that and best of all it was in our back yard! the feedback from the overseas drivers and crew also backed this up. i want to thank the guys that helped us out with everything at the event and pre event as we couldnt have been there without you. It was fantastic to see the front cars we have been raving about for three years come up with the goods and produce some astounding times! simply amazing stuff so happy mark managed to get to the goal time we set of a 1.34 sec, we also know some of the things we need to do but we need a planned approach and also the the next steps are very costly , so we will have to see how things go . also so glad to see the 4wd issues behind us!!! and r32 was just an absolute ball to drive, great to be back in it! cheers russ
