  1. yeah , he was there, he got two laps (1 each a day) ......haha. that's all and wasn't allowed to give it any full throttle squirts. how frustrating! he said the track was super tight throught the chicanes and used full lock in the car.
  2. I WANT YOUR JOB BOZ!
  3. hehe... nice description Benny. Mark Berry is playing hollywood and leading the brute utes out for a parade lap in the R34 , i told him to see if he could lap them . i would have liked to have been there actually. But i do agree it's very wrong not to support the local tracks and the wider motorsport community.
  4. hey unique , you want a gauge that reads up to about 250 psi, they are cheap. the hardest thing is just adapting the hose connections but a good hose company like pirtek etc can help. on a 32 it's very important to know the pressures, they are an old system and generally not working effectively anymore. none of the r32 gtr's that wehave worked on have had the correct pressures, all had system issues ( none were showing codes)
  5. you really should buy it roy and take it to the next level.
  6. the car weighs 1200 , ( i think? dont quote me, it's been awhile) We will have to check TPS again , but i am sure there was a signal to the 4wd ecu for that , And i think your right to Trent , doesnt appear to sense both G forces. Hey Wooster, apparently all bowie's time's were removed from the sprint sheets which meant Sean's time of 2.20. 7093 was third. I reckon the most awsome thing getting around the mountain was the Monaro with the stroked nascar engine, it was crazy fast! it did a 2.25 too. we should have eased up on the rear wing angle too, honestly mark was not pushing the car too hard especially where the track bites from the cutting on, we dont have enough experience with the car or the track . the car definately had a atleast a couple of seconds left in it over the top if you were willing to risk it or needed too, and had a track experienced driver in it. we are still at the same point we cant increase the power( & there's plenty left) until we get 4wd sorted.
  7. yeah ross , from ross balancers is a top bloke!! very smart guy if he now has an under drive balancer, it's definately worth trying, must be good if belts are hanging on on your car coop, the way you rev it ! with the 4wd , it appears to still not be accounting for wheels spin, but no codes? looking at autronic to control 4wd pressures now.
  8. yeah ben , common issue when revved, there was one throwing belts at Bathurst too. no sure what mark told you but ATI balancers seem to be a good solution.
  9. some hot brakes, on pit straight
  10. hey Noel , not sure about the new rule and classes ( whats the new rule? ) i think they see my eye's glaze over from lack interest when they start talking crap. hence I dont get told anymore. I'm looking forward to the competition, wait till ya see the line up!!
  11. anyone thinking about this event in the past, should start preparing. some seriously exciting things are shaping up!! should be some major fun!!!
  12. cool vid harry, man that place looks like fun!
  13. & Mark reckons his shitbox r34 is fast, the r32 will rein supreme!!!
  14. yeah the r35 is a big car for that road, but awsome fun. the tyres were completely rooted by the end, all four had delaminated on the inner part of the tread about three inches wide down through the steel belt, not pretty! I would love to go back there but may not make it next year , Being i am in Darwin for awhile now. Probably wont go back in the r35, i have an old friend rejoining the stable
  15. hey gents well finally got around to putting some incar from the Townsville Mt Stuart hillclimb together. My Wife Sarah Navigated and did an awsome job for her first time , with the help of some Ben Wooster tuition, thanks Ben! Mind you she did get sick at the top most of the first day, then came good. Its a really enjoyable event, highly recommend the drive. (mods please move if in the wrong section) cheers Russ
  16. R.I.P....fellas, Best wishes to family and friends Certainly a reminder of how dangerous racing can be.
  17. thats your job to get him out there benny
  18. Harry The car has been log booked and mark has his "p" circuit license. I am trying to get him to do a few rounds. would be great to see.
  19. The downforce was unbeliveable at speed. Mark was astonished with force trying to make him part company with the seat over the crests, it was litterally trying to lift you out of the seat the car was stuck to the road so hard.
