Hks T04e Turbo Kit - Full Kit! Very Cheap!
Stel replied to Stel's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I was told that it was a HKS turbo. I don't think the old ones had HKS imprinted on them. Either way, Garrett make HKS turbos. -

Hi Guys, Ive got a HKS T04E Turbo kit that im looking to sell. They are all genuine HKS items. Not ebay knock offs. The kit is to suit an RB25 or RB20. The turbo is rated at 500hp and has just been rebuilt in Japan. Has not been installed on a car since rebuild. (i don't know too much about turbos so i may not have all the answers to your questions) A.R - .56 Items included in Kit: - HKS Cast-iron mid-mount manifold - 45mm HKS wastegate - 3" Dump pipe to Cat - All oil line supplied - Crossover pipe with BOV. - Turbo elbow etc Basically this is all you would need to bolt this turbo up to your car. Only thing you need to buy is some gaskets. Asking Price: $1600 ONO I am located in Sydney and would prefer pick up but intersate buyers welcome also. Reason For sale: Only bought it for the sake of buying it (at a good price of course ) and now i need the cash for a new clutch and 100k service KIT HAS BEEN SOLD! We'll next mod would most likely have to be an intercooler. There pretty cheap now anyways you should be able to pick up a full kit for abou 400 - 500. Then powerfc would be your best option after that ($1000 in group buy). If the $1000 is too much you could try get an SAFC for about the $200 mark which will give you some noticable gains. To hit 220 - 230 you would be pushing the stock turbo at its limits - i.e it prob won't last too long.

I found a good cheap boost controller for $22!!!
Stel replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
lol i don't believe people are whinging. Its $35 FFS!!! I have bought about 4 - 5 from Mark and they are an excellent product. Worth way way more than $35 and i can understand the time and trouble involved in keeping up with such a large quantity. Give the guy a break! -

I spotted silver gts-t in Kogarah today, opposite the St George back. I saw you parking. I was looking at you trying to get your attention, i had a meeting with two older blokes just were you were parking. I was the one in the blackish suit.

Anyone know if this will be on today? I called the number and it said office hours are Monday - Friday but yesterday was sat so i thought it might be open today?

14 psi is basically the limit for stock computer/turbo etc. Anything after that your pushing the life of the turbo and the computer will rich and retard. To check if you have an aftermarket ecu go to your passenger seat and just to the left of were your left leg would usually sit in the footwell there will be a kickpanel. Take the panel off and the ecu is under there. If it says Nissan its more than likely that is the stock computer. The most common ECU change is to the Apexi Power FC so it may have one.... how did the car feel when you gave it a boost at above 14 psi? was it sorta spluttering?

Here's proof. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7...90570&q=jun+evo All in all the movie wasnt too bad. There were some good one liners at the beginning lol.... "This car has 500hp and does 0 - 60 in about 4.6 Sec", the american accent just kills me....

At the moment ive got cheap ass 12" Boss Audio subs in there. $50 each. They are running off a $120 1600 Boss Audio amp. I wasnt really into stereo's so i thought i would go something cheap, wasnt looking for a big system.....i think i went the wrong option. It is as loud as a mates setup which had 2 12' rockford's (not sure which ones) running off 2 sony monoblock amps. All up i spent 220 on subs and he spent over a grand? They have both latest the same amount of time. Ive had them in there for about 2.5 - 3 years now. Sometimes the cheap way works lol

Ran My R33 Gtst @ Calder On Friday Night
Stel replied to HVYMTL's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
When a clutch slips you can tell. Revs go up, speed stays the same.... im starting to get very bad clutch slip, in third gear it slips from the time it gets onto boost till it hits redline. Spewing. Gotta change THAT now too! -
I had the same problem with my heater core. It was leaking the day before Christmas and i was driving to Port Macquarie from Sydney on Boxing day. Rather than spend all of Christmas taking out my dash i just re-routed so i have no heater now. I think im going to change that because it is getting freezing.
