  4. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats gold.
  5. I have posted this in here as well cause i figure some of you may of already modified yours and can give me the heads up. Ok so as most of you would know that the standard lights in the R32's are not that flash so i was thinking of getting some white night globes. Now the high beam H3's are not a problem and got them in and a HUGE difference. Now the low beam H3C's are a little harder as i can't find anyone that stocks them in Australia and if i buy them from JAPAN then it would be $180 to get a set delivered to me. Now i dont know about the rest of you but i thought this was a little steep for globes. Now i had a couple of options. 1) install a set of driving lights. This is reasonable cheap option but did have its draw backs as well. Mainly being that cause of the intercooler piping it doesn't leave much room which means that the overall size of the DL would be under 600MM and not offer me much more light. The other problem is the legal issue's and getting booked for DL's as most people do and dont really want the worries of something so stupid for a defect 2) Find another set of globes that will offer me more visiblity at night making it easier to see and still maintain the original set up. This proved a little harder than expected as the only H3C's i could find were stock replacement globes and would not offer me any more visibilty. I couldn't find anything over 2000K and couldn't see the sence in paying $50 for stock globes which wouldn't improve visibilty. 3) Obvisouly a HID conversion is the best but very expensive and not what i want to do as i think its a bit excessive for what im looking for. SO after lots of thought and studying of the globes and the stock head light set up i came up with another option which i think should work and cost about $50 in total for new low beam Blue Vision 4000K globes. Still not 100% sure if it will and i'll keep all posted. If anyone has upgraded there globes if you could post up or PM with where you got them that would be appreciated. Cheers B
  6. No problemo what i have in mind is using H3 4000K Blue Vision and modifing them to suit. Cheers B
  7. they still go for about $160-180 for a full set For that money you could spend another $100 and get a HID conversion kit instead!!!
  8. My car is R32 and they have standard replacement H3C replacement globes but like i already mentioned, i can't see anything with these, hence why i want brighter/white light globes. Cheers B
  9. Oh ok. Well as the globes are slightly different between the R32's and R33's the main problem i have had is that no one that i have talked to stocks or can get a hold of aftermarket H3C's blue vision 4000K or higher as there is not enough demand for them apparently. Spoke with Phillips Australia and they wont bring them in, Narva do not have a globe bar the stock one. there is no way im paying near $200 for globes from Japan I'll figure something out. Just sucks that im working night shift all week and i need my lights to get home  Cheers B
  10. Ok you lost me a little there. Stock globes are orange/yellow in colour and just the normal 12V 55W. Meaning no blue tint at all <_< What was the brand of the globes you got??? Cheers B
  11. Stock globes im guessing. Which is really a waste of time as my stock globes work fine, there just too dull and do not provide enough light. Thats why i want to get some xenon or white lights globes instead. Cheers B
  12. The main difference between H3 and H3C is that the H3's have a single pin and the H3C's are a dual pin. H3 are generally for high beam use in the R32 GTS-t as the globe surround is earthed. (meaning the single pin is for your 12V+ supply) The H3C is for low beam use has 2 pins on the globe. One for 12V+ and one for 12V- I can't really see a problem with a HID kit in H3 for low beam except that the globe size does differ and can cause problems. EG: aligning the globe and getting it sit correctly and obviously the spring that holds it in place. Would be interested in one of these but for the price of the unit and not being water proof sort or deters me a little. Cheers B
  13. yeah i would be interesting as well if i could have some more info please? suitable to run with mods or just for stock set up??? [email protected] Cheers B
  14. pics of the gauges please? bj_glover(at)hotmail,com Cheers B

  16. This is sorta in the wrong section as its not really audio related. But yes you can fit it yourself, just need the basic tools (screw drivers, hacksaw, angle grinder, marker pen) some patience and a spare set of hands. Remove your old skirts and get them on first as it will help when lining the rest of the kit up. Once there on, start with your front bar. Remove your old one and sit the new one in place. If you lucky you wont have to cut much out of it (if made correctly) and should bolt straight on. If need be cut sections out to allow correct alignment and then bolt up. Repeat process for rear bar. Some people will just use silicon to fill the gaps and clamp it on and be done with it, i prefer to spend a bit more time and get it 99.99% correct fit so it looks like it was factory. Cheers B
  17. what your trying to say blondy, u dont like my car and you dont think its sexy  GOT to loose the spoiler i think and maybe drop it an inch or so but other other than that its ok considering Head lights modified and i can finally see at night and i didn't buy the $200 globes like i was supposed to Cheers B

  20. well all i can say is at least you have 98RON, hell i would be happy if we could get something that was over 91RON Cheers B
  21. Yeah i got it down even more as i placed 25 through for order and i dont make any money off them like other sellers so i can cut costs even more now. But wont be running anymore on SAU as i dont have enough time Cheers B
  22. yeah me too
  23. Or you could just get an after market that plums back as well like the Greddy S/RS and not have any problems. Makes little difference to the sound and always going ot be easier to get the A/F ratios right and no idle problem. But what Tim said is spot on if you want to go atmo BOV Cheers B
  24. Welcome to SAU Mad. No doubt see your car around the traps sometime soon. You will have to try and come along to a Wednesy night cruise or the Friday night meet ups Cheers B
