As Cubes said it is possible and pretty easy to do so.
Shouldn't have to get on your back either (unless thats your cup of tea ) should be able to see the clip while kneeling beside the car.
I got a fair bit of adjustment out of mine after i replaced my last clutch (also have to reweld the clutch pedal ) from one too many clutch kicks
Be patient with adjusting it though to get the point that you desire, it took me about 20mins to get it right

Low to mid 12's is achievable.
It all comes down to your 60ft times really and well you can launch.
Only one way to find out though and thats to get out there and have a crack
