ANYTHING really mate. something that will pay the bills and i wont want to shoot myself out of bordem at the end of the day Sam and Nick are flat out at the moment with a fair bit on. Sam is planning on coming back down but not 100% sure about the dyno as yet. Chance's of using another dyno are pretty slim after talking to a few poeple. But both DrifTas and i belive Kamikaze are looking at doing something with Sam. Either way there will be another tuning weekend in the next few months Cheers GMB

Yeah the turbo light is the best bang for buck these days. You will find that most of the guys run there liners on it as its a little thicker. Good luck with this turbo, hopefully it lasts a bit longer Cheers GMB

Well my car was stolen last saturday night and they did some damage in the process. I was lucky that they only got 100 odd metres down the road before being chased off by mr plod. But the 2 damaged locks, the broken ignition barrel, broken rear quarter window and some other bits and piece's put the rebuild even further behind than what i was. Have spoken to a certain Dr that is going to look into a new motor package for me which should see me back out and about (just have to come up with the cash) and also get that certain Dr behind the wheel at the next DrifTas event. So i'll be hunting down some parts and also calling in a few favours in the next couple of months so i can hear that sweet sweet sound of limiter and gate Other than that im looking for a job so if anyone can help me out let me know Cheers GMB

Gus i know of a few spots around the island (depends on where you are planning on going) that i can let you know of. It all comes down to time of year and if you are going to be up north or south of the state. Do you know ANY spots at all you plan on checking out or is it still in the planning stage??? Cheers GMB

It is now in lots of little bits after a little accident on the midlands and the police going over it a little closer Not a bad car but was pretty rough when you went over it closely. And im still not beliveing the power figures that it was supposed to have My 2cents with ignition (dont take offence if our a ricer) it really isn't my scene, i can thinking of about 100,000,000 other things to spend money on before i was to make a little sh!t box front wheel drive car look all shiny, glittery and pretty Cheers GMB

so you dont want to take me up on my offer!!! You shouldn't need anymore than 1hour on the dyno TOPS Its only a pre-cautionary thing really to make sure the AFR's are ok (not to lean or rich) and that everything else is working the way it should be. Make sure the car isn't pinging its brain out like half the clowns out these days on the weekends and maybe throw some timing in or take it out if necessary. ANY dyno would/could/should be fine if set up correctly and the operator isn't just starting out Let us know how it goes JB GMB

I agree with a few things Justin but not all. You can use standard Rb20 box (which will do the job) and that way it will all bolt upto the standard rear (or a 2way ) for a R32. You can buy a 25DE for about $1k (compare that to a turbo halfcut) The 32 shape is better in my opinion and easier to drift over the 33 (also cheaper) but if you were to buy a turbo R32 then it would be a RB20 (99.99% of the time) if you are to build up a RB24 or a RB25DET then your looking at about 3k minimum. A 25 Hybrid (if you have a turbo set up) shouldn't cost you much more than $1500ish. You strap a TD-06 to the side of it and 16psi and you have 250rwk's with a motor that still will scream and rev its tits off and have more torque than the 20 would!!! You want to talk about reliabilty then speak to Finky about his My 2cents and i look forward to seeing both builds in action at a future DrifTas event Cheers GMB

At a minimum if your going to be building a 25 hybrid then i would use a 1.9mm gasket (should pull it down to 10:1) There are 25 HYBRIDS that have been running on 16psi+ without any drama's (and these are drift cars ) Like Justin said, talk to Sam as he has played around with these and rates them highly!!! If its the R34 im thinking of that was in FI a little while ago then you will find that he did run a 1.9mm gasket and also knock the timing There are a few turbo's getting around at the moment and it depends on what you want to pay, what set up your going to be running and how much power you are looking for. The other BIG thing that we need to know is what are your intentions with the car??? Cheers GMB
