  5. Thats all well and good that it keeps up but think of it this way, its nearly 20years old. For the sake of $200 id be going a fuel pump over a FMIC cause the last thing you want it to do is crap itself or lean out once you start winding a little more boost into it while tuning
  6. Overkill IMO when the 040 (direct fit) is plenty or you could run a 023 if you wanted something with a little more flow. Personally im a BOSCH fan myself and dont rate the Walbros but different stroke.s $210 for a brand new 040 KEM.D
  7. Im chasing an induction pipe and left hand top intercooler pipe (both stock) to suit R32 turbo if anyone has them???
  8. The ecu plugs are different sizes so not interchangeable unless you have a R32 wiring harness installed to run the 32 ecu.

Time to sell and move on, details as follows: 1990 Nissan HCR32 GTS-t - 90,000k's Manual TASMANIAN Rego til Jan 2010 ENGINE/COOLING RB20DET with 80,000k's (purchased from JPC) Fitted with Trust 1.2mm metal head gasket. Motul 8100 5w-40 engine oil, GENUINE Nissan filter (NEW) Apexi Pod filter HYBRID GT intercooler kit R32 stock radiator and new GENUINE Nissan thermostat. INDUCTION/EXHAUST Stock RB20 turbo in excellent condition with no shaft play.   11. Fairo, at the end of the day it depends where you put it under the bonnet but if your like me then its out of the way and you forget about it
  12. Guvna1 search the forum and you will find the thread on the turbotechs and everyone running them. They are a pneumatic application not bleed like most of them, more stable, will not spike, set and forgot and can run upto 2bar all for $39. Given that the turbotech is blue im not quite sure where your going with the stock looking comment???
  13. Spot on although depending on the stock turbo's health i wouldn't be trying to push for 200kws but is achievable like Paul said. FMIC is a must IMO "if" you are considering more mods later (turbo, injectors etc) and you will not notice a large change with response after fitting a FMIC and running a stock turbo. IMO giving the rarity of genuine PFC's for R32's i would snap it up while you can and look at fuel pump (an ABSOLUTE MUST) FMIC then turbo upgrade when you can afford it. Depending on how it drives now why not leave the stock ecu in there and with the money you would save from tuning the PFC spend on the rest of the set up and do it all at once
  14. A31's wiring harness is different to the R32 wiring harness for silvertop mate depending on what year it is so not necessarily running a red top loom. Well it depends what you want to do with the car and what exactly is your problem in the first place to warrant a different ecu cobber???

  16. Incorrect The RB20 in some A31's are different to R32 mate and the ECU in the series 1 isn't interchangeable either is the ignitor, CAS etc as the plugs are different. You can either change the wiring harness/ignitor to run the 32 ecu or you will have to get another A31 ecu

Im running a TD06L2 20G (but with the 10cm rear) on my 32 and i can understand where your coming from Currently i've got the whole kit for sale as im parting my car but if you cant find a 25G maybe have a look at the 20G with the larger rear as an option as it will make the power level your looking for but with more response
