  1. Why you would even consider rebuilding an RB20 box is beyond me when you can pick them up for $200+ $1100 for synchros & bearings or you could buy a 25 box for around that and if you plan on further power mods you wont have to upgrade later or worry as much about breaking another box
  2. True but there are still the little things you can look for like the BRIDE stamped into the plastics around the head rests. They look legit and the rails are 100% BRIDE
  3. Updated times for R32 STUART
  4. I know what you meant possum im just winding you up
  5. Very sad indeed, the drift community wont be the same without him pushing the limits and proving that the RB26 isn't the be all and end all. RIP
  6. DAMN IT "Assembly will be required, however" Rules out getting an engine for me...
  7. Same as pretty much all cars mate but if you really get stuck im pretty sure there is a thread in the Tutorial section or have a look at this
  8. Looks good mate, what are the rest of the plans with it???
  9. I take it you mean he had the car filled up when it came over??? If not im intrigued how he managed to get it across if he came on the spirit
  10. If they guy is having a box replaced every 10,000ks then id say its the way he's driving. We have 2 SS crewman's as work vehicles and other than being thirty on fuel they've never missed a beat. We tow a trailer full of stock (heavier than a car) and have the try full with no dramas what so ever. The only other downside and i've noticed it with all the holden utes i've driven is that they are high in the arse end and can be a pain to see. Hell my original tow cop was a 82 hilux on 33 running a 202 and i've struggled to find anything better than it when it comes to bang for buck.
  11. I wouldn't have a Subaru even if they paid me so its a pretty easy decision for me EVO all the way.
  12. For simplicity sake i've always gone from the actually o2 as i've never trusted the wiring diagrams i've had and some of the cars i've worked on the wiring harness has been chopped that much its not funny. Personally preference at the end of the day. As above, i've got a wiring diagram for the GTT so i'll dig it out and post it up for you
  13. Is it a S1 or S2 and have you looked in the Classifieds section???
  14. True but why would you spend the extra on a CF lip and then paint over it if you were to smash it??? Seems a little Irish to me
  15. Ah nice, i've inquired about 2 helmets so hopefully they get back to me asap them
  16. nismoman (Mark) added to OP GP & evil weevil (Chris) added to OP South
  17. BS is IN BOLD ya computer tweaking geek!!!
  18. My 308 has had a death rattle for well over 1500ks and other than blowing "a little extra smoke" when cold its still going *touch wood*
  19. Just spotted some BS^^^^^^^^^ Also saw the red R35 this morning in Salamanca
  20. Like i said in the other thread pull the back off so you can see the circuit board to see if has any burns or not and go from there
  21. Good luck getting the 350 passed for Targa with the engine mods!!!
  22. There is no such thing as a "good cheap kit" and what it saves you when you buy it will only cost you later when your fitting/spraying it. Search this forum as its been covered many times (nearly every 2nd thread is about body kits and have a look around and get some ideas what kit you like and go from there. If you have half an idea then there is no reason why you cant fit/tweak the kit yourself and get someone else to paint it. This will save you ALOT of $$$'s but also put into perspective that a quality genuine kit is worth its weight in gold for fitment right out of the box IMO
  23. Yeah mate still the same just a different part number for R34 GT, R34 GT-t, Stagea WC34 (RB25DE/Neo 6) WC34 (RB25DET/Neo 6) From memory they have 2 white and one black but you'd have to look at yours to double check
