I have installed 33 front seats in my 32 and was looking to get a rear seat to match. Just wondering whether a R33gtst seat will fit into a r32gtst? From a post on removing the r33 rear seat, it seems that they are quite similar, but the 33 seat has 2 brackets at the front of the bottom section that are bolted to the floor. Apart from that they look similar. Is the width the same?? Has any one tried putting a 33 rear seat in a 32? cheers for your help.

You won't need to change the suspension if it isn't adjustable and is of legal height. You will need to change the wheels - can get by with 2 sizes above stock, meaning 17s are ok but not 18s. Should be ok with the exhaust if it isn't too loud. And of course you will need to get rid of the BOV and turbo timer. A turbo timer is illegal because there is some law that doesn't allow a car to be running while not attended - thats what i've heard anyhow.

Well I guess we just have to wait and see what happens when regency finally gets these plates. means13 when did you comply your dr30? Was it this year, cos everyone that complied their car in the last few months seems to be getting these letter? Does anyone actually know someone who has had to fit one of the plates yet? Or even been contacted after the first letter?

Transport SA is currently urgently sourcing suitable plates and we regret any inconvenience this may cause you. In the near future you will be required to present the vehicle to Vehicle Standards staff at Transport SA, Regency Park for fitment of a South Australian Vehicle Identification Plate. Other arrangements may be made for vehicles not located in the metropolitan area. You will be contacted by letter at a later date to arrange a mutually agreed time for fitment of the South Australian Vehicle Id Plate. No futher inspection or administration fee will apply. It really is bullshit. To add to my problem, I had a compliance workshop put the car through for me the first time. The guy at the workshop knew the regency people and put it through with the current wheels which are too wide. It was late on a friday so they just let him though. If i put the damn thing through they will get me on wheels as well. I think i'm f**ked!!! I think i'll just get my girlfriend to put it though - they may be lenient??? Also i don't know if they will do a full inspection since they aren't getting paid for it. It says u just have to bring the car in for fitting of the plate. Probably dreaming though - I'm sure they would love to defect another car.

I recently received a letter from regency stating that they need to fit a south australian vehicle ID plate to my car. Apparantly they are currently trying desperately to source these plates. When they do i will have to make a time with them to bring the vehicle in so that they can fit a sa ID plate - free of charge. Now my R32 was complied about 2 months ago. Since i've have put the lowered springs and sports steering wheel back in and also tinted the windows beyond legal. Now i'm going to have to take it back in so they can fit a plate. Has anyone else received one of these letters?? If i take it in for the plate fitting can they inspect the car and defect it? This is really pssing me off.

The bottom part of the seat is connected with two clips. The best way is to feel for the clips (on the outer edges) and then get a thick screwdriver, put it through the clip which is shaped like a U, and then pop it up. Once the bottom is out, there are two bolts for the back as mentioned above. Should pop back in just fine - hardest part is getting the back to latch correctly so the bolts line up.

thanks slide. There seem to be a few buttons that aren't working on my climate control unit - most importantly the button to decrease the temperature. This was working previously. Its probably just a bad connection - Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?? Is it possible to just pop the buttons off once the facia is removed?? Any help is much appreciated. cheers.

I too have a similar problem. I have not yet had the aircon regassed (fresh import) but there seems to be warm air flowing from under the dash when the system is turned off. This is especially annoying since i just got the windows tinted today and cant put them down!!
