Maybe on the 28th of April when Gavin reopens I should take the car down to him and say "fix... Broken" :| I'm not game enough to touch anything incase I stuff it up. I might get him to do a full service and change the plugs and get the injectors cleaned. I've only done like 2000k's on my normal service but Damn cars... Why does it always break.

Can I just by this stuff from supercheap?? I'm not game enough to clean anything on my car incase I break something I'll get Andrew to try and clean it and see what happens. I might just wait to reset the ECU until the weekends over. I don't really wanna be caught fanging it when its double points, double fines. How long do you have to fang it for when you reset the ecu??

Over the last two tanks of petrol that I've used, my car seems to be guzzling it down like theres no tomorrow. I thought it might have just been doing it's normal thing of having a bad tank of petrol and then getting heaps of k's out of the next tank. This wasn't the case. Then I went down the coast sat night on our cruise and it used 1/2 a tank of petrol. That was just with normal driving and no hard acceleration. It doesn't seem to have the pick up it normally does. If the turbo's blown, it wouldn't be making boost... right? Also, when I first start the car it idles at 1500rpm and seems to drop spasmodically when ever it wants, meaning it doesn't idle like that until it gets to running temperature (sometimes it just keeps ideling like this until I turn it off). I find that if I rev it to 3000rpm for about 3 seconds the rev's seem to drop and stay at around 700/800rpm (normal idleing) sometimes 1100rpm. Could this have something to do with the injectors? Auto choke not working properly?? Or someone said something about cam belt/gears or something. I just heard the part of $600 to fix it and died. Apparently these should be done around the 100,000km mark..... I soo ****en wish I could get streetmachines for some of this shit, It's just one thing after another and quite frankly, I'm ****en sick of it. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. I can't get hold of my mechanic until the 28th so I thought I'd ask here first and see if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks again.

I've washed the outside and cleaned the interior. I ran ovre the vaccuum cleaner nossle but Oopps Now i've got to find the motivation to go have a shower.. go to the shops, get some autosol and tyre shine come home and finish washing the car ... Anyone got some motovation to lend me?

Michael, Try a carpet stain remover. I've got stains on my seats from andrew dropping his icebreak all over it. And I think theres some doctor pepper there as well >: I've got the big kev's stain remover stuff. I'll go try that next. If I can be ****ed. The interior is clean, now i've just gotta polish the outside and do the mags. I've just noticed too that theres some ****en zap from the tree all over my back guard. Might have to polish that out.

I got a dirty big bloody bat poo on my bonnet... It went all purple. SO I've got to polish it out. I can't just polish that little bit.. So i'm going to have to polish the whole bonnet.. Its a never ending saga i tells you. Sometimes I wish i owned a shitbox

I know your pain. Trust me. White is bad. As soon as you wash it you get all the black shit all over the boot and it makes me soo cranky. I don't have a garage either so it sits under a car cover all week and then i wash it every weekend so the marks aren't really that bad. Until my cat decides she likes to use it as a bed!

The thought of getting rid of your pride and joy is quite daunting. Trust me, I've thought of it lots of times. Especially in the past few months. Having two cars on the road and one always breaking (read: Brutis) isn't good for the cash flow. I just can't bear to get rid of it so other things suffer, like the luxuries of just getting in the car and going for a 5 hour drive to somewhere we've never been. Also, not taking two cars down the coast. That's a money saver in itself! I hope you make the right decision, although it mustn't be easy getting a kid in and out of the back of a skyline. I don't think I could put a baby seat in the back of mine

I'd go in July I'd also suggest that you go a Wednesday night. I know a few people who went last night (good friday) and only got 1 run in and waited 1 hour and 30 to do that. Others weren't allowed to race cause there were too many people. Wednesday nights are good. If you get out there early enough, you can get in about 3 runs before everyone else turns up.

Theres actually a nice drive up through Mt Mee and then through Beerwah that we did one day. Maybe we could look at doing that sometime soon and ending up on the sunny coast

Welcome Ryan! I was wondering when you would migrate over. This forum is alot more helpful than the normal bullshit shit stirring of other forums I'm glad you fixed that damage up on the back of the skyline (I know you imported it like that) it looked a bit bad Please come on the easter cruise.
