  1. I'd suggest APC on logan road down that way. Carb and Jet (on kingston road) are very expensive and so are the brock shop.
  2. G'day, I'm looking at two SARD fuel pressure regulators: (1) Sard - Fuel Regulator 8mm Nipple ($164.49) http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/136 (2) Sard - Fuel Regulator Type-R ($331.00) http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/7 ... I'm at a bit of a loss to make out the differences between the two? Its going on an RB30 which currently has an OBX fuel pressure reg, which has failed. Running a T60-1 turbo (currently 1bar, aiming for 1.5bar which is in the best part of the efficiency range of the turbo), 580cc injectors, Haltech E6K and all the usual goodies associated with it. I've been warned to steer clear of OBX and Malpassi and was reccomended SARD, but I'm not sure which of those two I should be aiming for. Seems a massive difference in price for no reason at all? Any thoughts would be great. Cheers.
  3. Start posting away!
  4. I'll try and make it! I've got a hair appointment at 1pm (how girlie am I!?) so if I leave there in time I might head on over.

We'll most likely be there either in the skyrice or the yellow VL (not hard to miss). Apparently it's VL weekend this weekend Which I dont actually mind because we can waste his money in fuel and not mine!
  6. Thanks to all the new guys that came out to meet us Without your support, these events won't go ahead.
  7. On another note, SAu QLD has a dyno day booked for the 21st May
  8. For those of you who are new members to SAu, if you attend tonight, we'll give you your membership pack and receipt.
  9. The cappa is already at Mercury so you wont be missing it even if he does bring the skyline. Looks like we'll be taking the VL. Apparently he's feeling left out because sinbad's been getting all the attention.
  10. He seemed to be having some type of issue with gear changes/clutch or something.. What was wrong?
  11. I wonder if Warwick will bring the little grub again
  12. VL's are ghey out of the tolls. RVR's wanting to STOP in the middle of the motorway to test how fast his car is are idiots. I smell like tyre smoke from my hair Was SAU33 Nat?
  13. OMG he's soo cute! He's got gorgeous blue eyes and the chubbiest cheeks. Car keys are an amazing thing for babies, jingle them and they are entertained for hours! He's a hoon in the making if ever I saw one, hears a burnout, looks around with his big blue eyes, turns back to us and has a huge grin on his face! Soo cute! ... No I'm not getting clucky.
  14. Oh well troy, at least some good came of it. Time to move onto bigger and better things.
  15. It's on the corner of Southgate Avenue and Wynnum Road.
  16. Well they say if it rains on your wedding you are meant to be together for ever! I just hope it stops raining this weekend so I can wax/polish (depending on how energetic i'm feeling) my car so it looks half decent for this wedding!
  17. He parks THAT in the city?
  18. Theres enough parking, I wouldn't say plenty Also, if it's raining, it's still on. Theres plenty of room in the workshop and upstairs for us to hide in.
  19. I drive on some pretty crap roads, but yet, I dont speed in the wet. That's just common sense not to speed in the rain. Where we aquaplained in Andrew's car was on the M1 just near springwood and I've driven that road many times in the rain in the same lane and never aquaplained. *shrugs* I have no idea why, but my personal driving experience is that my car has never aquaplained on any road to this day after three years of owning it. As for dodging puddles, that's highly unlikely, I aim for small puddles because sinbad loves playing in puddles
  20. I was just pointing out the fact she's not a g/f anymore, she's his finacee!
  21. I personally disagree with this. Like most imports i have 255's on the arse end and my car has NEVER aquaplained. I was in andrew's vl one night coming back from Adrian's at yatala and it started raining and I've never been so scared in my life. I've never felt aquaplaining before, and it scared the **** outta me.
  22. It's that time again to come and meet and greet the guys at Mercury Motorsport and other members of the club. A sausage sizzle and cordial/cold water will be provided for free and cans of softdrink will be available at a small cost. The dyno WILL NOT be run due to the amount of noise complaints that Mercury have been receiving lately. Below is the word from the horses mouth so to speak (will post tomorrow as email is at work). Mercury Motosports Unit 2, 278 Newmarket Rd Wilston QLD 4051 Phone: 1300 558 650 Starting time of 7pm. See you there! :burnout: Also, just a reminder to members and others to me mindful of the other residents within the area. DO NOT leave the Mercury Motorsports premises in a loud and undue manner.
  23. Nooo.. that wasn't pointed at you, I gathered your saw the sau stickers and was trying to get my attention, but I was concentrating on the road.
