Glad to hear it's only something small Will. I might ring Gav and ask him why he didn't answer my phone call at 11pm last night.

Poor 32. Lucky it broke down where we were. Otherwise I think we could have been in the shit Thanks HEAPS to Melv for coming and rescuing us! :hugs: And thanks HEAPS to Mick for following us home to make sure that we made it

We are meeting at yatala pies at 8:30. But we haven't organised a cruise or anything.. Just a meet to sit and chat. Might go for a drive. It's not a skyline so don't be too dissappointed.

Powerfc + A-lsd in R33
NismoGirl replied to Moanie's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I can't find the box. Mums packed it away somewhere.. See if she had just left it where it was sitting, be it in the middle of the room, I'd be able to find it. -

Yeah.. both lights come on when I start the car, plus the ALSD light and ABS light comes on when it's on a dyno or something when theres a fault. I bought my PFC in january/february this year? So I think it's the latest one that's available. -

Are you not reading what has been written above?!? I have a powerFC. I also have an A-LSD. I have had NO PROBLEMS with this combination in my car. Maybe it's got to do with the incompetency of the mechanic? -
I was hoping because I have my policy with suncorp that they would cover andrew's new car as well. But they don't seem to want to do it I will probably be swapping to just cars in March next year because I really doubt that my policy with suncorp will continue when it is put up for compulsory review at the beginning of next year.

Well it's finally here! The scouting has been done and the pace notes written. Now it's time for all of you skyliners to show your support and break records! This Massive Skyline Cruise (MSC) has been organised this time round to involve kiddies/wives/husbands/uncles/aunties/grandparents for a great family day out. HELL, bring the dog if you so desire. Date: 28th November 2004 Time: 9:30am for a 10:00am departure Location: Aspley HyperMarket Carpark. The carpark closest to the intersection of Albany Creek Road and Gayford Street/Maundrell Terrace. Requirements: Skyline of any make/model. UHF Radio and a sense of adventure. FULL TANK OF PETROL! I can't stress this enough. Destination: Lake Baroon. Gorgeous picturesque views of the lake and surrounding mountains. PLENTY OF PARKING. This location is up north out past Maleny/Beerwah/Woodford. We did the scouting run around the time that we are going to set off on this cruise. There was very minimal traffic around this time of the morning. Trip is a good one and a half to two hours with stops scheduled in between for stretching the kiddies legs and toilet stops. As mentioned, there are tables and bbq areas for those that bring their own food. There is also a canteen thing that provides fresh sandwiches, breadrolls, refreshments and icecreams. I will be phoning them to let them know of our intentions and to have extra food on hand for this particular day. There are also lake activities at this spot. You can hire a boat/paddler/canoe and investigate the lake closer (I have information on the prices for these activities). There is a playground to keep the kiddies (or parents) entertained. If you feel the need to do some exercise, theres a bush walking track. Once people have consumed their food and had a good break, we will be heading back east towards the Bruce Highway where people can choose to either go back to Brisbane or continue onto the Sunshine Coast for some sunday afternoon laps. This cruise has specifically been set up for during the day so that it gives families a great day out, as well as some great photo/video opportunities. Lets break the record of 77 skylines from the last MSC!! Let all your friends know and be there or be square. I am giving you over 6 weeks notice. There will be no irresponsible behaviour or driving tollerated on this cruise. Stagea's and Cefiros are invited to participate in this cruise if they wish. Please click here to register your interest PLEASE NOTE: Maps and Directions will be posted closer to the date. Please keep an eye on this thread for updates to the details. ITINERY http://www.boostcruising.com/members/krawl...ake_Baroon).pdf <--- Please download and bring on the day.

I'm with suncorp.. the "mong" that I spoke to when I rang to sign up totally ignored the fact I was 18 and it was still only this year when I rang to add mods onto my policy, that the person realised I was still only 20 (at this time) and I had a policy that disallowed people under the age of 25 to drive the car. I spent about an hour on the phone to them while they sorted it all out and they decided that they would honour my policy this year, but can't guarantee it for next year. Just Car's isn't *that* bad. They may charge more, but at least you can list all your mods. I've got all mine on my policy with suncorp, but I'm at the limit allowed now so I can't add anymore. Just Cars is owned by AAMI so it's not a "small company" as such. The only thing that is stopping me from going with just cars is the upfront payment of the policy.

Ron McCan is the man! Good to see people who actually understand the culture, not the bullshit that Today Tonight feeds them (From Andrew. I (Erin) have no idea who Ron McCan is!)

*cough* You made your children miss the fireworks. I can understand why you were bad that day, after putting up with ignorant ****wits at the ekka and THEN having to deal with people on the roads, I don't blame you,. One of the days I was driving brutis to work, this stupid chick in a lanos pulled out of a side street in front of me, when I had NOTHING behind me. NOTHING AT ALL. I know it's easy to make brutis wheels lock up and skid... so I had a little giggle and then locked the tyres up about 1 metre behind her. I had enough time to stop, I just wanted to scare her. In doing that. she was giving me the finger and going off at me in the rear vision mirror! WTF? You ****ing goose! YOU pulled out of a side street onto the main road in front of ME and it's somehow MY problem? I just shock my head and laughed at her. I think that pissed her off even more. She even had some kids in her car and looked like she was taking them to school. *sigh* the memories of brutis. He copped a hiding. Like that time that STUPID guy in an excel got out of his car at a set of lights and tried to bash andrew through the window to impress the woodridge car****s he had in his car. With lots of brake checking, side swipping, fast speeds and understeer around corners, me freaking out and ringing my brother in law (we were on our way to his house) we finally lost him and he didn't make a corner and went up onto the gutter. Brutis skidded past him (very tuff like) and we got away eventually cause a set of lights went red. Men and their ego's eh? I've never been soo scared driving in my life! -
Afternoon gentlemen
