  6. I'm pretty sure if these aren't you exact size, you could take any of these into any RM Williams store and swap them for the right one. Please call them first to confirm. I will provide a store receipt to the buyer.
  7. I found their sizes are slightly bigger. I'm a UK12 in most boots and a US13 I a Nike runner. My right size RMW Craftsman boot was an 11. As you say, beat to check in store. I ended up wanting to change mine to a different sole. Although I got mine at Myer, their Collins St store was happy to swap. Their comment was "Doesn't matter where you bought them. They're our boots." So long as it's obvious there were never worn.

  12. Just had some new tyres fitted and noticed all of the rims are scratched from when the machine rolled the old ones off the rim. I'm 100% sure they weren't like that before, as I know every scratch on the car, due to regular hand washing. The store had closed before I collected the car, so I have not yet raised it with them. Has anyone else had the same experience and what was the dialogue and outcome?
  13. Hi all, I'm about to purchase some new treads for the Gti. I no longer do track days, just want some decent rubber for the odd spirited drive through the hills and around town in all weather conditions. Both of these tyres are the same price. Any thoughts on either? Thanks.
  14. Recently randomly pulled over by TMU after leaving a kebab shop near cnr Warrigal & Dandenong Rds around 11pm. Completely behaving myself. Short story was that the officer's comment made was that if I had another vehicle in the garage, to bring that one out next time. Car was a stock Polo GTI.... seriously?? I took away from that there's a hoon issue on Dandy road and they're sending out a message.
  15. Seems it's not just available from Bridgestone stores. Jax QuickFit Tyres also has the offer. I'm assuming Bridgestone is offering the deal through all retailers.
  16. Hi Crew, Saw this on the webs today. 18. Hi All, I'm posting this on behalf of a mate who is after a new pair a racing boots for the best price. Any feedback appreciated. **************************************************************************** Hey Guys, Do you know anyone/where who sells cheap race boots? I preferably want FIA approved boots, as I may do some competitive events in the future and don't want to buy Kart shoes and then have to buy another pair later on. I have shopped around most of the race gear stores I know in Melbourne and the best I can find is: Puma Future Cat MD Pro $249 RPM Indy 3 $199 Sabelt Street Mid Race Boot $274 MQ Chrono 2 $210 Sparco Slalom $260. Alpinestars Tech 1-T $329 I have read of people on forums getting boots for around $100 and such but not sure whether they are Kart boots or maybe even casual race-looking boots. Any contacts or places I should shop? PS Don't really want to buy blind off the net as I want to know the shoe fits and is comfortable and I have a track day next weekend, so time is a bit critical. ****************************************************************************
