I dont know where the sensor is mounted, it was done when i got the car. It does smoke out of the exhaust but only at full throttle and I know it is running rich, so its most likley fuel smoke. Yeh it only happened like a week or so ago

The oil level is high and i only just had the oil fiter replaced when i had it service like 10km/s ago if that. I thought something might b blocked but the whole way along the oil lines it is hot so oil must be getting through. Oil pressure is also normal, it bizarre i dont know what is going on

Hi Guys I was wondering if you could help me. Recently my skyline (R32 GTS-t) started to smoke out of the oil catch tank overflow (or release im not sure) and on my aftermarket oil temp gauge it is showing temperature of between 100 to 115 degrees after driving (like a grandma) for only a short amount of time. The standard gauges show no problems, water temp is normal but there is something definatly wrong. Below is a pic of my engine bay and i have circled the oil catch tank, on the side it has like an overflow which has smoke poring out of it when the car is running. I just took it for a drive then while the night is cool and it is still overheating, it has an oil cooler up front and usually runs pretty cool (70 to 80) and even cooler on a cold night, can any 1 help? I took it to the mechanic but he had no idea and didnt even look into the problem, any thing you can suggest that might be wrong would help. Cheers From Brin

Hey I was just wondering if any1 went to the Swap Meet, Car and Trade Show at Berri (in the Riverland) on this weekend (19th & 20th Nov). I saw a few skylines there and I was wondering if any1 actually came down for it. If not you missed a Lancer that runs 9's, on the dyno 375kw with wheel spin, so they decided to put NOS into it and man you should have seen that thing jump off the dyno with the biggest bang. Felt sorry for the poor owner, every1 was giving him shit when it blew up especially the Holden and Ford supporters there <_<

Hi I have a R32 GTS-t and I was wondering what PSI I could run up to before damage starts to occur. Below is a list of mods (interlas are stock): T04 Turbo GTR FMIC and Injectors (444cc) Z32 AFM 3" turbo bk um a few other mods but i dont think they matter. At the moment im running .9 bar. Also the 15yo rule is finished so scratch that idea, the government ruled that importing cars 15 years or older dont comply with Australian emission standards *cough* bullshit *cough*. But anyways with regard to looking for rust I would recomend looking underneath the car, under the spare tyre (water often pools there) and around the rear lights (there is compartments in the boot you can open and look at the back of the rear lights). Some of that has been said above but betta safe than sorry Oh and 1 last thing tell him not to wash the engine bay and if the engine looks clean then expect an oil leak, take the car for a drive and dont be afraid to open it up (ask the seller first obviously) then listen for detonation "pinging". Hi I imported my R32 GTS-t about 4 months ago after looking for a year and a bit. My advice to you would be to get a mechanical inspection done, trust me its worth the money, I had 3 inspections done on 3 different cars until I found 1 that didnt have to have major repair work done. I imported my car, which is cheaper but be prepaired to get screwed around alot and if your not patient then I wouldnt recomend it (it is also risky buying sight unseen). If you have got any other questions id be happy to help, the R32 is a fantastic car and im sure you will love it. You wrote GTS, are you actually looking for a non turbo? Because if you get a GTS you missing out on alot of fun

2 of my mates have had damage done to their cars in the last couple of months, 1 has a Supra RZ and the other has a BA XR6 Turbo. The Supra has only been in Aus for about 4 months and since then it has been keyed all up the side, had some1 scratch their name into the bonnet and had the rear wing punched down snapping it in half. The XR6 has been keyed all over the bonnet, down the entire side and even the rear lights (at $300 each) have all been scratched. Not to mention all the people who have run into the cars and caused accidental damage. I dont care what any1 drives as long as they respet other peoples cars and I mean who cares if you dont like Jap cars get over it you dont have to drive 1. Your entitled to you own opinion but keep it to you self, why yell shit at people its not going to get them to change their opinion and that goes for people who abuse Holden drivers. I like Skylines so i drive 1, if you like Holdens then you drive 1, be happy that you drive a car that you like and stfu about it. </end rant>

Hi I have a GReddy e-Manage with the usb link cable and i was wondering if there is any other software I can use with this cable. I was going to try Nissan Datascan but I was advised that it wont work, so im looking for another program similar to NDS prefably with the analog gagues. The reason for me asking this is that I am getting a in dash LCD screen put into my car and I have found a cable that will let me hook my laptop to my LCD, so if I can find a program with the analog dials I will be able to get them to show up on the LCD screen in the dash. Sounds simple but its turning out alot more difficult than i thought, so if any1 could help me out that would be great and if I get it working ill post pictures on the forum. Cheers From Brin

When are you thinkin of having the cruze? Ill be back in Aus soon but I still gotta get my car complied which might take a month or more, I mite be able to go if its in December. Lots of interest though and if I can make it it will be my first cruze in my R32.
