  1. I know it's a bit off topic for a skyline site, but our family hack is a 1989 LWB import pajero. I'd like to get a left side convex mirror and mounting arm to suit this vehicle. So you wreckers / importers out there drop me a line if you can assist, or if anyone else can steer me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated.
  2. and I'm not talking about mine. I suspect I'm having a bit of trouble selling mine as there's a bloke who is stuck with a race import GTS4. He's got it in the paper for $7000 and is telling anyone who rings up that it isn't complianced yet, but can be registered. Just in case you aren't in the know - if it is imported as a race import in can never be registered under any circumstances. Probably very good buying if you want a car to race or rally, but that's all you can do with it. You have been warned.
  3. price reduced to $13000. Don't write it off because it's an auto. Drive it and you may well be suprised!
  4. How was the cancellation publicised? I missed any notice, but made the decision not to go due to filthy weather.
  5. my skyline is available for inspection this weekend in Launceston.
  6. If you could find out freight that'd be handy. If it's extreme I'd perhaps look at picking them up when I collect my next skyline, some time soon, I hope.......
  7. I'm also after a set of fronts. Can you give me a price, and also a price on freight to Launceston, Tasmania? P/M if you like.
  8. Try Windscreens O'Brien, I got one with an aerial recently, they even had it in stock and did it the same day. This was in Launceston too, so surely there would be stock on hand in Melbourne.
  9. No this is the automatic. I have driven both manuals & autos before, the auto is super smooth and great as an everyday driver. 3 different shift modes, try it out and you may well be suprised at how nice it is! My limited understanding is that it's an 'on demand' 4wd system with some sort of G force sensor that tells the car when 4wd may be needed. Presumably there'd also be some sort ofsystem that applies 4wd if one of the driving wheels loses traction too. Of course I say 'limited understanding' and don't profess to be an expert, hopefully someone will either correct me and/or provide an accurate description of how it works. Other posts I've read say it's the same system as the GTR. Stock except for a 3 inch Apexi exhaust with big end can and 4 inch tip. Tyres have a lot of life left (unlike most recent imports), balance of 6 months rego, Xenon gas driving lights, dark blue, zero rust (again unlike a lot of imports), the spare has never been used, and when I lifted it out of the boot it looked as though it had never even been moved in 16 years!
  10. No worries, I was only going to make an excuse to come down in part to show the car to interested people. The car will be available for viewing this weekend in Launceston if you are in the neighbourhood. If you want a look let me know and we can arrange something. I can factor it being automatic into pricing if you become interested.
  11. I might make a trip to Hobart this weekend. Do you want to have a look at it?
  12. Did you get my information regarding the GTS4? I've sent you a personal message and an email, but obviously don't want to pester you. Might be able to arrange a viewing on the weekend if you are keen.
  13. I know what you mean. Don't come south a lot anymore, used to live in Hobart though. If you are genuinely interested I will travel, could meet you part way or something like that? I have sent you a p/m and also an email.
  14. As you would be aware I've got the blue GTS4 auto. Negotiable on price, car available for a test drive (accompanied of course!). Yes it's an auto, but it's a very nice car especially as a daily driver, Auto has 3 different shift modes. The grip of a 4wd and no touble putting the power to the ground. 3 inch Apexi exhaust, good tyres, balance of 6 months rego. Car is in Launceston.
  15. offers considered of course - car is available for inspection etc.
  16. yep that's it....
  17. At present I have a blue GTS4 coupe.
  18. What I can get depends on my cash flow and the 15 year rule - how much longer it lasts.
  19. Only private, have a 55000km GTS4 R32 on the way soon, and also a super neat standard R32 GTSt in rare factory green following that.
  20. Do you have the centre air con vent? If so I'd like to buy it. Thanks,.Andrew.
  21. No, Launceston, I'm not the guy at perth with the Supras!
  22. In defence of the seller of this car. If the inspector at the auction does not believe the mileage to match the condition of the car they will put a big question mark next to the mileage on the auction sheet; which obviously has not been done in this case. The two XX's on the bonnet mean that this is the panel that's been replaced. If I had the $ I would have bought this car already and wouldn't be wasting time writing pointless posts querying mileage.
  23. I'm a self importer, with two more on the way...
