Thanks guys, ill have a look at the PRV (if I can find the thing) and the fuses and see how i go FYI.. I looked under the car and the right hand side steering rack boot was completely destroyed, I had noticed that it was split a few months back, but now its totally open and perhaps letting alot of crap in to the system. Any way of flushing and cleaning the PS system , or is it a matter of getting a whole new rack??? Cheers Ric

Dude.. I have changed the PS pump twice, I would have found the belt to be damaged or ripped dont you think?

i tried doing a search before posting but nothing really that can help me there.

Hicas has been removed, looped at the rear, and lock bar has been put in place.

Hi guys Last week the power steering on my car decided to stop working, steering became quite heavy, so I went ahead and checked the usual suspects..... - speedo is working - belts are fine - fluid is fine So I thought "the pump", went to my local wreckers and got myself a new pump, installed that and to my surprise it didnt fix the problem, went back to the wreckers to ask for another pump, got that, went back home installed it.....nothing AGAIN mad.gif . So now Im thinking what are the chances that both these pumps were dead? I believe the problem may just be somewhere else, but dont know where to start looking now. So if you guys can give me any ideas, that would be sweet, this is doing my head in smile.gif Cheers Ric

he has to be talking about an RB20 dude, why bother upgrading injectors and pump and regulator to get only 170kw. It has to be an old lazy RB20

On the cheap side, you can get a RB25 turbo, which is just slightly bigger than the 20 and it will look just like stock, remap the ECU and youll be around 190rwkw (at least I was) Sell the emanage, to cover some of the costs, and enjoy!

^^^^ Thats is another flange that was welded to the original flange to better fit the turbo, it was all done when test fitted. Its a new manifold, you obviously dont know how a used SS manifold looks like.

No an ebay job. Its a Tune Agent manifold customized to fit external wastegate, yes it was test fitted, no dramas. Mafia let me know asap, cause I have another guy interested. Cheers Ric

We are talking about the location of the turbo, no one said anything about stock turbo mate, and fyi even with stock turbo it can be modded to suit external gate. If you are not interested please refrain from posting.

Hey mate yes it replaces the existing dump, its pretty straight forward really, a bit tight space wise to install but youll get it there, if not you can get someone else to do it for you. No pics of it installed im afraid. Cheers Ric
