I think your e-penis is bigger than most dude. ----- Saw the vids Simon, nasty hit, bloody tires...any chance we can speak to Clem to take the tires off, for future events? I really dont want to end up hitting those tires next time I am up there! Better yet, he should actually concrete that bit there, if he is too wooried about the grass being destroyed. I will see you this weekend eh? Cheers Ric

Get one of those Pedders $14 Suspension Safety Checks, they should be able to tell you whats wrong with it, and what parts need replacing, they will also give you a quote to repair it, if it is to dear (which I can assure you it will be) go get the parts of the wreckers and do it yourself. easy as Cheers Ric

First Dibs on this How many Kms? PM SENT! -
That sucks! Funny thing is...I put a message on NS saying that I wasnt going to go to this G1 because of the weather, and he replied saying he was so confident about his sprinter in this heat due to his GTR radiator in it and how big it was on such as small car. Goes to show, you can never be too sure, new engine too, shit. Bad luck, I hope he gets it all sorted soon. Cheers Ric

hahaha fair enough. maybe I was looking at the top 16. Try carrying more speed onto turn 1 and perhaps you need to be more aggresive when throwing the car around to get more momentum and avoid the rear from gripping. I know what you saying though, cause it used to happen to me as well when I started using brand new tires for the rear. You will get used to it, no need for more power 300rwkw is heaps What sort of tires and size are you running at the rear anyway? I was running Maxxis Z1 at last G1, and they grip like hell! Cheers Ric
-
What? Not such thing as too much grip Luke! lol Was looking on NS for the results and couldnt see your name anywhere, it seemed quite strange, I even thought you didnt compete in the end. Congrats to all that competed and braved the heat...Did anyone killed their engine on that heat? Cheers Ric

What can I say I am soft No way Im going there on a 40 degree day (with an engine that has been sold) But I do wish you all well... I might be able to go down after 7pm to see the final battles and say hi. Tip for the Day#2: Drink LOTS of water! Tip for the Day#3: Keep an eye on your temp gauges at ALL times! Cheers Ric

How long have you had the car?......Be patient dude ..save some more money and then get some goodies and chuck them all at once. You will feel the difference more if you do it that way. If you put an intercooler now, and thats it, you would feel bugger all difference and you are going to think that you just wasted your hard earn dollars. imho.
