  1. I have for sale a PAIR of genuine, lighweight Work old school wheels they are 17x8 5x114.3 (not sure of the offset but look at the pic) Very minor marks and gutter rash, top condition! They have been painted white by me, didnt do a good job may I add originally they have a chrome lip and silver centre ( can be easily stripped back to normal) I have a new spare set, so I dont need these anymore. Asking only $250 ono. $200 ono for quick sale. pics.... And a pic of them on the car (only one I have lol) Cheers Ric
  2. Thanks flick, nice meeting you and Luke, well done mate on making that far on your first comp awesome job, congrats! I was having a bit of issues with grip at the rear, tried softening the suspension before qualifying but made it worse lol, but yes had a good day, good experience for my first comp. I wasnt expecting to qualify, the level is getting higher and higher, a lot of skill out there. Showza, sorry about your car mate, but you know youll be back bigger and better than ever, give us a yell if you need a hand with anything man. If anyone have some vids of practice and qualifying, post them up! Cheers Ric
  3. Mine is the same but doesnt have the horizontal bar between the rear legs (harness bar), thats one of the thing I was planning to do to it. Is it better to weld a horizontal bar through the midle of the main loop? , or is it better to make it a diagonal from one top corner of the loop to the bottom of the opposite corner? If that makes sense.. Cheers Ric
  4. Yes im using the castrol SAF-XA 80w140 and im stocked at how quiet it is and works very smoothly, (until you do some tight turns at low speed)
  5. thanks for your comment, I didnt spend that much on the cage, i bought it second hand, and weld a bar through the main loop and perhaps a harness bar between the rear legs is not going to cost much at all, about $150 for both. But I though id ask if is going to help strenghten the cage or is just a waste of money and time. Cheers Ric
  6. I have a bolt on cage (cusco) on my r32 and I was wondering if it would be worth modifying by welding more members to them, ie a bar across the main loop to reinforce it. Have any of you have done this? any pics of your handy work? Cheers Ric
  7. Update: I attempted opening the fuel tank on the boot, took all the screws out and as I was pulling out the cover I heard this thing bang inside, and i though oh shit i broke something, afraid to continue damaging whatever it was that made that sound i decided to put all back together and hope for the best I didnt even take the cover off properly to look inside. And to my surprise when i started the car up again, the gauge was working, hahaha the sender or something most have been caught on the pump assembly and when I tried pulling it out it got unstuck. (I think thats what happened) Hope this helps anyone with the same problem Cheers Ric
  8. I have a set of RP01s in white as picture on my avatar, but im in adelaide, too much hassle aye?

    G1 22nd July

Ill be driving too, the new diff is on, and shes so tight
  11. Correct me if im wrong but the Limslip 85w-140 is a mineral base oil isnt it? Gotta love that price damn, I just paid $60 for 2ltrs of Castrol SAF-XA 80w140, that the guy at Diff and Trans SA recomended me, it better works well.
  12. what do you mean? i know that....... DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC BASE OIL ON KAAZ LSD. Kaaz LSD may not function smoothly. thats why im asking if we are meant to be running mineral oils or what? I have a can of KAAZ oil that I have used to run the diff in, but I need to change it now and needs to be done tomorrow morning, so it has to be something off the shelf here. Cheers Ric
  13. Hi there As above, just wondering what oil you guys have been using on your KAAZ diffs and how you have found it to perform. Also I found this on their website..... WTF are we suppose to run mineral oil in it? Oil for Kaaz LSD DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC BASE OIL ON KAAZ LSD. Kaaz LSD may not function smoothly. Cheers Ric
  14. My fuel gauge stopped working completely a few months ago. I was meant to put a new topic up to see if I could find the reason why, but since someone else already did, even better. Where is the sensor located, is there a part you can change to make it work again? Cheers Ric
  15. ^^^Last time i looked, you didnt have a mod/admin tag, so leave their job, to them.
  16. Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has a guard roller I can borrow for a day or a few hours. I can leave a deposit or something or hire it off you whatever. I need to tuck some my rear guards a bit to clear the tires due to new spacers, and dont want to go pay $100-200 for someone to do it. Any help would be apreciated Cheers Ric
  17. Were you running semis showza? 1:24 seems like a good effort indeed. Get that highflow back on! Hey nisskid, I have a spare 2 way diff in housing, if you are interested.
  18. well in the end I had to go and buy a complete viscous lsd from the wreckers, cause they wouldnt separate the shafts of course. It was a pretty sweet price mind you. Yes Cubes, it seems it is one of the Nismo centres with 2 short axles. So if anyone is interested id have a complete housing with a mech 2 way in it for sale, watch the for sale sectoin soon or PM Cheers Ric
  19. Nah mate, the LSD is at 'Diff & Trans SA' in the city, and they are the ones that say it wont fit. Apparently the shafts are different on the Viscous LSD, one of them being longer than the other (not sure). Thanks anyway, if you know of someone with this laying around, let me know Cheers Ric
  20. Hi there guys Problem: I bought a KAAZ for my car which is for a Viscous LSD but mine had a 2 way mechanical in it, so the shafts are different and it wont fit Solution 1: I need the shafts off a Viscous LSD to be able to fit this Diff. I'm willing to buy them if you have them laying around. Solution 2: For those people looking for a Mechanical LSD. (only if you are 100% sure you have the viscous LSD). Ill sell you my second hand one which is getting retighten as we speak for only $400. so basically it would be a swap you get my housing with my mechanical in it and ill get your crappy viscous to put the new KAAZ in. It would have to be done ASAP cause I need to get my car on the road. Any help would be appreciated, I have my car on stands at the moment waiting on this Cheers Ric
  21. thats not too bad, I might ring around today and enquire about them. Cheers
