  1. I'd go cause it sounds like a lot of fun, but next weekend is G1 and I dont want to break anything before then Are you entering G1 Showza? Let me see....New set of brake pads, New tyres, Box on its way out...*looks at empty wallet* Too risky Cheers Ric
  2. ^^^ well at least that didnt happen at 140km/h mid turn
  3. Well thats great news for SA drift! How did Christian do in the CTS car? Do you have any vids of the battles? I ve seen some pics on other websites but theres no vids. Cheers Ric
  4. I doubt the other pair ('jap wheels') is any good, since he wants $50 bucks for them Post up some pics and offsets dude.
  5. I am talking a pair mate, like the pair hes selling, no one here talking sets
  6. Mate you can get these Koyas for $550 brand new in any colour at Wheelworx Let me know if you change your mind on the price. i can offer you $300 for the pair. Cheers Ric
  7. anyone? Do you know of someone selling one?
  8. would you separate the koyas? if so im interested PM price.....rubber? Cheers Ric
  9. This is where it gets complicated, people wanting to do both Grip and Drift and how you go around to organize this. If you are starting at drifting ( I assume you are) a extra set of rims with tires should be enough to last you a few sessions or the whole day (depending on how much power you have too) so it shouldnt really be an issue. Just get a pair of stockies or something and go out and have some fun. Cheers Ric
  10. Hi there Im looking for a roll cage for my R32 Coupe non sunroof. It can be any bolt on, non cams approved, whatever, just in good condition obviously no cracks or funny bends Posting here cause no one sees the WTB section. Cheers Ric
  11. Yes, perfect track(if you can call it that ) to learn, but I am not holding my breath for pt Gawler, very low chances of it opening again for drift which is sad really. I hope Im proved wrong though. But yes keep it to the track bud, you end up hittin all sorts of obstacles that are likely to cross your path whn learning , trees, poles, bushes, lakes, and bloody gutters (I hate the bloody things) hahah Not to mention endangering your life and others in the process. Cheers Ric
  12. Its looking good so far. Simon, what did Clem say in regards to notice? It would be awesome if this could happen before the next G1, although I think that would be pushing it. Cheers Ric
  13. Thats fair enough, I think breaking up the session is a good idea, just going to take a bit more to organizing. I was thinking 2 groups of 13 each (26 total) Group 1: Drift Group 2: Grip 8:30 Open 9:00 Drivers briefing 9:30 G1 10:30 G2 11:30 G1 12:30 Lunch 1:30 G2 2:30 G1 3:30 G2 4:30 G1 5:00 G2 5:30 Close 3x1hr Sessions + 1x1/2hour session At $200 a head makes $5200. Is that going to be enough to cover the track fees?? if not fit a few more people in and voila! Watcha think peeps? Cheers Ric
  14. ^^^Dude seriously, I am just going with what Simon said. A car properly and safely tuned can last a whole day sliding no probs. I mean it wouldnt be the first time, have you heard of drift schools that run all day at mallala? I just think a mixed grip and drift day will be harder to organize, but nothing against grip here, hell I might even give it a go myself. Relax dude Cheers Ric
  15. ^^^ Yes, it is. With a few grip sessions throughout the day, but mostly drift as Simon said. Perhaps we can organize 2 different days one day grip and the other drift, if there are enough numbers that is.
  16. I was under the impression it would be a Drift day though 20 people 1 full day at malla = lots of fun and practice. Here alone we have 4 people Skylineguy Simon Showza Myself Take this idea over to NS and you get the extra people we need. c'mon people lets make it happen a full day at malla for 20 people is priceless! Cheers Ric
